Towed my buddies Notchback Mustang from Des Moines to St. Louis and back this past weekend. The truck did as well as I expected. Averaged between 10.5-11 mpg running 70-75 which I didn’t think was too bad.

I find the tow/haul mode does an awesome job downshifting when applying the brakes and coming to a stop. It helped out quite a bit as I found out right away his trailer brakes weren’t working. If I had known that ahead of time I would have used my car trailer.

All in all, I am very happy with how the Ram has towed various toys and it’s super comfortable to take on long trips.

Glad to hear it did so well, I am towing a 68 El Camino to Dallas from MD for a show this October. I installed a Timbren SES kit so hopefully that will help with the squat.
