I'd ride a pedal bike everywhere if I could. Vehicles are huge money pits. Hard to ride a bike when it's -20 below in the winter & a foot of snow. Plus unless u work close to home or in the city it'd be tough. I just would like to own a vehicle that wasn't a p.o.s. for once. Plus riding a bike...
It doesn't matter whether u buy a Ford, Chevy, Ram, Toyota, or Nissan. They all got issues. They all usually get 2 or 3 stars out of 5 for reliability. I blame all the computer crap in these things now days for a lot of the issues. Way too much technology. Glad I bought a BH for $40,000 & not...
Transmission felt like it was slipping or couldn't find the right gear or something as I pulled off my block onto main road this morning. Truck was cold. Never has happened before. Basically it was super sluggish & felt not right. Glad there wasn't a bunch of traffic coming. Anyone else...
Got the dreaded black screen today for the first time after leaving the bait shop to get my fishing license. No back up camera, no radio. Just a dead black screen. Shut the truck off for a minute. Turned it back on & everything is fine. Anyone else had this happen ? Just wondering if it's...
Lived in Minnesota 44 years. Last 2 trucks never had 1 spot of rust. Had one for 7 yrs, 1 for 6 years. Never hand wash. Always use a car wash with brushes. Touchless do a crappy job & don't even get the vehicle clean.
No, u see that because people never wash them. I've had trucks 7 years living in Minnesota without one spot of rust, & they use a ton of salt around here !!
To each their own I guess. My neighbor spends every Saturday washing & waxing vehicles, but has no kids & lives with mom. I spend Saturdays running errands & doing stuff with my kids. Sundays are church & rest b4 the work week starts again. I pay $25/month at Tommy's Car Wash for unlimited...
I've gotten probably 100 emails & snail mails in 2 years since I bought my truck trying to sell me an extended warranty. They wouldn't push them so hard if they weren't HUGE$$$ makers. I'd love to see some statistics of how many people make out on those deals & actually get more work done than...
Every 6 months/6,000 miles. Semi synthetic at the Ram dealership. My indicator usually says I got about 40% left at that point. I wouldn't go by that. I pay more for oil changes at the dealership but I don't care. I don't want to have to keep records & if there is a warranty issue, they've got...
Spending $995 for the L.E.D. lights on my BH was money well spent. I didn't plan on doing it but so glad I did. The Halogen lights are hideous looking. They make a $60,000 truck look like a $10,000 truck from 2007. Literally makes the truck look 15 years behind the times !!!
Holy crap, where do u people live ? 8 mile road in Detroit?? 🤣 I live in a suburb of Minneapolis approximately 15 minutes from downtown. I've had 1 pedal bike stolen in my life ! Most my neighbors park outside. I've read about 1 catalytic converter being stolen 2 blocks away in our local paper...
If u got a truck with strange electrical issues, why not trade it in & move on? They will never know when u trade it in. They usually spend about 3 min looking over your trade b4 making u an offer. Sucks for the next guy, but that's why I don't buy used !!
My 2013 had cracked manifold bolts. Drove it like that for 2 yrs than traded it in. If my 2020 has issues I will trade it in on a bare bones Pentastar V6. Tired of these Hemi issues. I don't really need a V8 anyways. Pentastar sounds like it's bulletproof & cheaper to maintain.
Keep your Jeep Cherokee. Your going to get bent over trading that in after only 1 year. I paid $40k for my BH in April of 2020. MSRP was $53k. Now people are paying MSRP & sometimes more. It's the worst time in history to be buying a car or a house. I don't understand why anyone would buy...
Agree💯 love having less clutter around. Still have a lot of DVD's because the kids watch them, but they will all be going to the Salvation Army eventually. 🙂
I didn't realize 3/4 tons even state what the mpg is. That must be something new. My Chevy 3/4 ton didn't have a window sticker with mpg on it. I think most guys who buy 3/4 tons are not too concerned with the mpg.
