After an 11 month wait and after traveling by truck, train and cargo ship from Miami my 2022 Big Horn is finally in my driveway!

I love it!!! Drives like a dream. Tomorrow I will install my Retrax Pro MX cover.

Stoked!

Congrats!

Thanks!...they are identical I believe...and I am no pro at these things...but will report back on how it goes for sure
They are the same Gatortrax and Retrax is the same actual company.
Hope you used some of the forum discounts to get your Retrax, I got my Gatortrax MX (aluminum) for $1600

How'd u get LED lights on a BH ? Thought they took away that option for 2022 ?

Awesome looking.

My Gatortrax is coming in next week.
Leave me some pro tips if anything is weird on the install.
Well I got the Retrax Pro MX on today and am very pleased with the fit, look and quality. It took me about 3 hours since I took my time and this is the 1st bed cover I have ever installed. I just followed the instructions and with a lot of tweaking and adjusting I think it is sealed up nicely. Tomorrow I will install the ESI Ultimate Tailgate Seal Kit.

My BIGGEST worry was that the Rambox lids might not open freely...but they certainly do with no binding at all.

...and wouldn't ya know some really dark.rain clouds are starting to roll in now lol

Do mind measuring the height of the space below the canister for me or actually the canister space size itself. Thinking about switching my Lomax out for a Retrax just gotta get an idea on how much space I’m losing and making sure I still have enough room to fit my work gear/ travel gear in the back.

For sure I'll take those measurements tomorrow morning for you

Great truck what cargo box divider is that?
Thanks jives...it's the factory cargo divider that you get when you order the Rambox & Bed Utility Group options. I believe you need to select both options to get that divider...it is really useful!

Morning Purple...ok here are the measurements.

1) At the top of the bed the Retrax cover reduces your bed space by exactly 13 inches. That is the space between the cover, when it is fully open to the front of the cab. But once you are under the fully.open cover you only lose about 10 inches of bed space.

2) I measured 9.5 inches of usable space from the bottom of the canister to the bed floor.

Hope this helps!
