Just seems like an odd post for the same day you joined. I’ve never joined a forum to complain about a product that I didn’t own. Even if I rented a ford and had an issue, I just couldn’t see taking the time to go write about it on a Ford forum, let alone, create an account.
I think you are stuck with what you are getting. While they made a couple improvements with aerodynamics and shed a few lbs, it’s the same engine. I expected nothing different from my 14 to my 19 and my mileage results are the same as my 14, maybe a tenth better. Never listen to a sales person...
Thank you for the responses. Are any of the above mentioned products available at the local Pep Boys, AutoZone or Walmart?
Also, hand application is the best I’ve found due to overspray on the driveway that lasts longer than on the tires. ;). Anyone know what’s easiest to apply?
I've never been one to use tire shine but after the detailer shined my tires, the look fits. Wanting to continue that look, I had some old, and I do mean OLD! Black Magic sitting around and it did the trick but wasn't as deep and only held up for a week. Can you guys suggest a better product...
Anyone having any bushing / suspension squeaks? I have an inconsistent chirp I keep hearing from the passenger side when the windows are down. Can’t seem to pinpoint it....yet.
They really don’t need that much attention. My last Ram (14) got a clay bar treatment every summer with a good coat of wax and then in the winter, I’d use a trusted local carwash. Never had any issues on my Max Steel paint. Still looked new when I traded it in.
Sounds about right. I put a 2” lift on my front and now have a 1” rake. IMO, perfect for the boat I tow. FWIW, I’ve gone past the Chevy dealership up the road and seen at least a 4” or more rake. This is what we get when manufacturers are trying to win the towing race.
It just comes down to your tastes. I felt they looked small BUT, I had planned to replace the rims even before I bought the truck as I just didn’t like the rims Ram offered. I was also able to sell the factory Falken tires for a nice amount to offset costs. I’m still looking to sell the...
My 14 was anti-slip, worked well for me. My 19 is e-locker and taking off in rain, acts just like my 14.
I’m leaving for my brother’s cabin in a couple hours to hunt the next couple of days. If one of us does get a shot, inevitably that damn deer will run into the field. I’ll be happy to have...
Yes that is the kit. Ride was the same. The only difference is that bumps in the road felt more towards the center of the vehicle rather than head on, an improvement IMO.
This is 2” leveled with Readylift Spacer and UCA’s on an Off-Road Package Truck and the stock 32” tires. Do note, the truck is 1” higher than a typical Ram already due to the Off-Road Package.
