I didn’t get that plan but I did buy a plan through my local tire dealer. Covers the tires up until half tread wear for $28 a tire, no matter what happens to it, including me driving over a scrap pile.
I figured it was a good deal. After half life of the tire, I wouldn’t want a direct...
That’s odd. Maybe Ram doesn’t feel the arms / BJ’s are not compromised with 2” but provide the UCA’s because they expect the tech to booger up the boot??
Stock offset is 19.05 regardless of diameter. Check around the forum and see if anyone else has gotten away with 35s on stock rims with that lift height. I might be worried about rubbing when fully turned....not sure.
Tire size is a very personal choice. If you like a stuffed look, go with 35s. If you want to be more conservative, I’d stay around the 34.5” area. I have an off road package truck that’s been leveled so basically a 3” lift when compared to a non-off road truck and I am running 34.1” tires that I...
Coral....Coral! Lol. That’s what I call my cat Carl. A fan I see.
The only thing about the 22” is that you won’t get the variety in tires that you would find in the more popular 20”. I’m sure 22” is also more expensive.
If you just leveled the front with the before mentioned level kit, you would in theory be 3” taller than a non-off road ram up front. 1” taller in back, assuming the stock non-off road ram is not leveled.
Are you just trying to level your truck or do you want it lifted and leveled? A 2” level kit, say Readylift because I have experience with it will raise your front suspension 2” above where it is now. With just that kit, you rear will be 1” above your front.
I am heading up to Sullivan County in Pa to my brothers place this Thursday. Going to hunt Friday and Saturday. I didn’t buy any doe tags this year so I’m sure I’ll see a zillion of them. I don’t hunt like I use to, fishing has always been my passion and a few years ago I got into kayak salt...
They look pretty nice but they also look like ankle wreckers to me. You and your everyday passengers may learn how to use them as you can see the actual step portion but someone not familiar is going to step on that round portion and slip.
Just for the heck of it I checked my mileage tonight. Trip B has never been reset. 2080 miles, 14.1 average. Roughly 80% of my mileage is around town, short runs. 10% towing a 3500lb boat and only 10% hiway. This is exactly, to the tenth what I got with my 14 Ram, similar model and gearing...
Just curious, what does the cab sound like without the ANC? No radio or anything on. Is it really that much noisier? This is not the first vehicle I’ve had a noise cancelling system in and I’ve always thought they were kind of gimmicky.
That last line is why I bought my tires and rims locally rather than online. I paid about $100 more but they put them on for me and if I ever have an issue, they take care of it.
