And Ram keeps the title for worst fuel economy...
And why I moved from GM and Ford to Ram. While the GM and Fords may have gotten better mpg, they suffered from poor throttle response, so much so that I started shopping. Ram's throttle response/shifting was heads above the others. I will trade 1-3 mpg all day for performance., Just me.

Took it for a drive to my cabin in northern AZ. Took it easy.
60% of the drive is uphill.
On the way up @ 60-75 MPH got 17 MPG
On the way down @ 60 - 75 MPH ended up with 24 MPG
* my 5.7 Hemi was 2MPG less up or downhill.
Assume mileage will improve with more miles.
Even though I did not floor it, the pick and go is impressive, easy to get over 80MPH in 8th gear!
Miss the Hemi sound! this thing sounds like a swing machine.

The shocks / ride quality feels firmer than my 2019 (then my 2019 had 37K easy miles before her demise!).

Except for few nuances (posted elsewhere) don't have many complaints yet.

Hmm good information from an actual owner and real use.
Thanks

I'm not F'ing anywhere, this is a open website, you don't like what I post, you can leave the thread.

:ROFLMAO:

Per the posted video the Hurricane was way worse, my 2020 gets 21.2 MPG proven hand calculated, if you want proof I've got it and can send it with a PM. Over 4K+ miles with all receipts and milage between the fillips, as well as the "lie-O-Meter reports.

Its not the same fuel consumption, if your going to bully members, get your facts right.

And I can sell you the London Bridge. :ROFLMAO:

Who are you to tell us to stay away, BTW, there is a sale on isle 5 on Cool Aid.

The Hemi didn't go away because it won't meet the EPA standards, Stellantis was getting fined many dollars every year that they went over the COLA standard. In my opinion, (listen BowDown, its an opinion) they could have eliminated the Hemi in the Dodge lineup, that would have helped Ram trucks keep the Hemi for buyers that wanted the Hemi at the same time option the Hurricane. It would have been nice to see how many would option the Hurricane, so the Hemi could fall on the market on its own, but now were forced into it.
I don't think RAM or Stellantis cared about anyone's cost of living allowance.

You obviously did your MPG calculations wrong. According to the naysayers, there's no way the Hurricane got better MPG than your Hemi. Especially uphill

Just to consolidate the list of dislikes/likes so far:
1- Many delares and all online Mopar parts distributors do not have the 2025 listed yet,
* Ordered the bed step and it did not fit
* No rear mud flaps from Weathertech / dealers, ordered the front mud flaps from Husky, and they fit
* Not sure about the trailer brake controller I ordered one - supposed to fit 2025, will know tomorrow when I go to the dealer (have another thread about this topic) - Per Jimmy, it may not
***Update: It does not, dealer does not have a clue about the correct part number / location since the mounting location for the controller is diff. (( have another thread about this topic))
* Dont care about stop/start feature - no big deal, I can turn it off
* Dont care about no ACC position for ignition, it is either off or on -- getting used to it!
* Dont like the small center info screen on the dashboard --- really RAM - in 2025 you still have to use your 10-year supply of DS parts?
* Dont like no ventilated seats --- I live in AZ --- Level 2 option should take care of this

Accessory that fit from 2019 to 2024 - so far:
1- Hard mopar tanne cover
2- Rubber floor mats
3- Rubber bed cover
4- Any brand running board
5- actually have started to like the manual knobs on the 8 inch screen - easy to operate!

Are you talking about Flagstaff? Unfortunately for me I only have MPG heading North from Flagstaff (down the hill) on the 40. When I returned back to Kentucky, I stopped in Mesa to see my daughter, so I took the 10 to mesa from SoCal. I ended up going through Payson AZ from Mesa to catch the 40, so we can't compare Oranges to Oranges. Regardless of what others think about my opinion, I do want to wish you the best of luck with your truck, I'll assume your going to be checking in from time to time, and I look forward to reading them.

what’s the issue with the ACC? I’ve driven a few vehicles with it recently is it different on the 2025 1500?

My cabin is in Heber/Overgaard. Anywhere in the metro area to Payson, then on 260 towards show low on 260 east - halfway point from Payson to Showlow

It is just my personal dislike - not based on any tangible data!
Dont like AC shutting off when it is activiated

So far I did get a better mileage uphill based on 5 year run from Tempe to Heber/Overgaard with my 2019 Hemi !!!!--- results are hand-calculated!
Folks - this is a new engine - Hemi is sadly dead, I would happily buy a 2024 with Hemi, none of the dealers in my area had a Laramie or even a limited with 3.92 gears, limited slip diff. and 33 gal fuel tank.

He can compare because he previously had a hemi truck. His comparison would be the ultimate comarison due to the fact that some variables can be excluded.
Same driver
Same driving style
Excat same route
Multile years prior expirence with hemi powered truck over the same route
Same or very similar weather conditions

This is actually the best comparison we could ask for

OK got it, I didn't record between your route, but I did travel some of it. I filled up in Ehernberg AZ, then in Holbrook AZ. At 342.9 miles, I pumped in 16.881 gallons of 87 octane and added in 7 ounces of MMO for a total MPG of 21.2 MPG. Mesa to Holbrook, was HWY 87 to 260 to 377 into Holbrook.

I don't think RAM or Stellantis cared about anyone's cost of living allowance.
Opps , ya its CAFE standard.

Wow, you got me. Good for him he gets better MPG. But I'm sure he had a Hemi with 3:92 rear diff., which means it wouldn't compare to my 3:21 rear diff anyway. Get over it Snowflake.

I bet it drives better in the higher elevations too. I like the HEMI but it needed a major mid range torque boost and I bet your hurricane delivers exactly that

Will let you guys know when I tow my trailer/SXS to Kanab UT in a couple of months.
Attached is a pic. from my old Hemi - roughly 6500LB
I averaged 12MPG driving from Overgaard to Kanab / Bryce Canyon round trip

That’s a nice rig, enjoy Kanab, I miss the big playground in the West. Do you ever make it to Glamis, I enjoyed towing my 5ver to Glamis with my mighty 2019 3500 SRW HO, but had to borrow my buddies RC

No dunes - I love the forest trail road trails around my cabin and, of course anywhere in UT is the ultimate offroad heaven.
I ride my sport touring bikes all over UT, and, then off-road in Moab, Kanab, Bryce Canyon, around Zion, sand hallo, etc.
