I'm upgrading my trailer to an LiFePO4 battery that can suck 50 AMPs if left to it's own desires. I'd planned on installing a DC to DC charger to limit how much it sucks from the truck (2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn w/ Tow package). I'm thinking maybe 10 amps tops is what the truck is wired/set up for...
I'm looking to do the same. I want to add a 12 Volt Cig adapter to the back of the console. There is a plastic cap on the back of the panel, seems like it would be easy to pop that out, add the outlet, then fish the wire through the console and tap into the breakers under the steering wheel...
Yes, it took some work troubleshooting but very happy with it. I don't have a pic handy, but i mounted it under the passenger seat (and removed the ANC). If you have the low end stereo, the signals are not pre-amp and this is optional (the benefit is you can set timing/levels ect). If you have...
Sorry, just saw your question. You'll run it in Universal Mode but use the CH4 harness (iDatalink HRN-AR-CH4). Yeah, they tell you it won't work, but it works. And (at least when I did mine) it's the easiest way to tap in. Disconnect all jumpers from the ANC under the seat and plug in the CH4...
Yup. I mounted my DSP where that ANC was located. You could put an amp there too if you wanted, I put mine behind the back passenger seat. I'd love to know how your noise dampening project went! What you used, etc... especially if you took any pics along the way!
A buddy told me the AudioControl app "MobileTools" does a good job of checking polarity (I have on iPhone, not sure if it's available on android). I haven't tested it yet but I did order a mic that works with it...
Seems like more and more my console is locking up. The AC and both defroster lights come on and none of the climate knobs respond at all. I think it might also get stuck in heat mode when it does this. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
Received my Rough Country to fix the speedometer and all the power warnings scared me off. Can you brick your truck with this thing? Does everyone pull all the extra breakers (GPS, Satellite, etc) like they instruct in the instructions? They say it's as easy as 1, 2, 3, but that opening...
