Two-wheeled play things

I realize I’m in the minority here but I feel like a “level” looks like ****. To me the “level” always ends up looking nose high. Like the rear suspension has sagged and the otherwise beefy look of the truck is made to look puny. Just another guys viewpoint.

Changed my oil today. This is the time I climb around and do what needs doing. 10K. 3rd oil change. No grease fittings on any u-joint I like that my FJ cruiser had and daughters Tacoma has them. I wish the Rebel had them.

All I can say is that I have the LineX premium (uv protection, a little more shiny) and I love it. Looks awesome, easy to clean, water still drains oit of bed after rain, etc. Looks downright luxurious and is tough. Very happy w my decision.

I have the air ride susp and have never heard such a noise. The compressor seems to run for both raising and lowering. No big air release ever. Keep in mind that there is no air tank or reservoir other than the bags themselves. Not sure what you have going on there.

The silver matches my silver nicely.

Sorry. I didnt see this til just now. No. I didnt plastidip the chrome. That black plastic is stock on a Rebel. I added vinyl lettering to match my silver paint.

Check out Lamin-X. They have film you can pit over lenses of all types. I used to put clear ones on my motorcycle headlights. They do amber as well. Worst cast (if they done have a direct fit), you can put a sheet or get something for something larger and cut it to fit. Side benefit. It will...

There’s no paint. Just raw, black plastic which has a texture. I saw on-line some folks heating it up w a heat gun and others heated, sanded, re-textured while still hot. I may try heat and see what it looks like

Anyone have any tricks to repair/hide surface scratches on the plastic wheel arch of my ‘19 Rebel? I got some tree limb scrapes and buffed out the paintwork. But I’m not sure how to correct the plastic bits. Thanks for any tips or tricks.
