What's the mpg on the ram 2500 diesel. I keep seeing it actually gets 1 mpg less (highway) than the gasser. I've seen this for the chevy 2500 as well while the ford 2500 diesel gets great mileage compared to it's 2500 gasser. Am I missing something? No way I'd pay 10k more for a diesel to get...
Thanks for replies. I am thinking I need to stick with my current travel trailer until I upgrade to a 2500. Only problem is I commute 100 miles a day for work so I'll have to wait till I retire in a couple of years. I always use a weight distribution hitch. I think it would be suicide mission...
Thoughts on capability. Numbers say yes but I am thinking I would need to upgrade to a 3/4 ton to safely tow this trailer. The payload would be cutting it close. I am rated at 1800 for my truck. I am sure ya'll will let me know if more specs are needed
I was looking to get rid of my tonneau cover and add a tool box. Was looking at this one. Not sure how it will look being so narrow. If someone has one of these could you please post a pic of it on your ram
I will have to disagree. I have owned 2 tundras and my wife has had 2 toyota vehicles. All of which had well over 100k miles when traded in. Between those 4 vehicles we had 0 issues. The only thing we had to replace were the batteries. My new 1500 has had too many issues to list at 7k miles. It...
Making first trip with travel trailer tomorrow. Tounge weight 650lbs. Setting up w.d. hitch. How much sag should I expect.? Does 2 inches seem about right
I have 285 70 18 ridge grapplers which are about 34×11.5 with no issues on stock setup, orp package. There is another member that had 295 70 18 grapplers on his truck. I would think the main thing would be the width on stock rims. I'm almost positive the standard 35 or even 33 × 12.5 will rub...
The deals are out there to get new at about same price as used. Ram is the only brand where you can still find deals 10,000 under msrp versus the other price gougers who charge 10,000 over msrp. I work for a competitor but bought a ram instead
My truck came in and I am able to turn lights off, however when my ac went out dealer gave me a Laramie sport loaner and I was not able to turn off the lights with truck running so I guess it is somewhat true. I am glad I went with a lone star
I have a 3:92 with off road package and average 18 almost all highway driving around 60 mph. The few times I've driven interstate at 75 mph I was shocked that I got over 20 mpg
