funny thing is I rented a Toyota Camry from hertz about 7 years ago that had all of this standard on a base model. Ive always SMH that this wasn't standard for how much these trucks cost
If I were you, I would get a Bluetooth / wi-fi OBDII scanner with an android tablet and the software (I have it just can't remember the name, its all over this forum) used to monitor the truck when this is happening. Various graphs and sensors are able to be viewed, not just codes. I solved my...
I have the ORP on my Laramie with air suspension. essentially a rebel wrapped in a Laramie skin. With the air suspension, the 1 inch "lift" is just programming of the air suspension to drive in what would be "off-road 1" on a "normal" ram. On a non rebel/non-ORP this would be setting 4/5. So on...
I am in my 20's and still want chrome, so it's not just the old guys.... :) To me it looks classy. My wife also says it's not a mans truck without chrome. I would never buy a color matched truck, but I can see why some people like a more "sporty" look. I like seeing that Ram + other manufactures...
Sorry for the delayed response - The recharge port(s) are the left/right metal ports on each sides of the port with the hose on the first pic. I didn't take the hose off as that middle port was not leaking. Just gave both of the ports about a 1/4 turn tightening until they stopped leaking...
My friend just went though the same issue, said they "checked everything". A few days later he was stuck again. Ended up being his starter too. Crazy coincidence with my issue too
Honestly speaking, if it's not throwing a code, the techs dont do a good job diagnosing the issue. Likely due to...
Its not the brake booster. Pedal is only hard because the brake has been pressed when the truck wasn't running. To start the truck the pedal only needs to be pushed a very small amount, enough for the taillights to come on.
My starter recently went out with only 60k miles. Brake pedal was stiff...
I think the whole idea of the "classic" was kind of strange anyways. Not sure why someone would buy the classic vs newer body style. Its not like its half priced
Hi All, I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie with the Hemi. My dad just picked up a 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie with the Hemi. We have almost identical trucks, regular Laramie packages (no sport, g/t, etc). His exhaust sounds a little more "open" than mine, sounds really good for stock. I believe I recall...
I see a lot of new posts here since my post back on page 2. Check it out. Your purge noise is your system trying to constantly recover the tanks due to some sort of leak. Mine was at the valve block. Best course of action is to get under the truck with soapy water, find the leak, take photos...
