Need Advice: Battery Issues with My 2019 RAM 1500

You did good. My original battery died right at the end of warranty. The warranty replacement died last summer. Gerry

Need Advice: Battery Issues with My 2019 RAM 1500

Since your battery is five years old, it’s likely you will be replacing it sooner than later anyway, so you might as well do it now. Wal-mart has a group H8 battery with a four year warranty. It’s bigger than the battery that came in your truck. When you take your old battery out, there is a...

Wawa sound from front drivers side

My truck with 90,000 miles started making noise. I jacked up the front so the wheels were off the ground. Then I spun the wheels by hand and found the passenger side was feeling rough and “growling “ a bit compared to the driver side. There was no play in the bearing though. I replaced them...

Engine dies on new truck at 6k miles

Yeah, but I guess you wouldn’t think the engine was seized at first, so it makes sense that they would check the battery and starter first. Finding piston material in the intake? There must have been some major carnage there!

Engine dies on new truck at 6k miles

The last line in the work order says they adjusted the transmission fluid to the proper level. Sounds funny to me.

I think it's there to complete the electrical circuit for the muffler bearings. Gerry

    Lubegard Engine Flush

In my opinion, you are wasting your money. I had a 2004 GMC with over 100K miles that had a head crack. It was a casting problem. When I replaced the heads, the inside of the engine looked brand new. There was no ring ridge at the top of the cylinders. The crosshatch on the cylinders looked...

    Break in issue?

I doubt that idling for a couple of hours would be a problem. I think the best thing you can do to help the longevity of an engine is to do the first oil and filter change early. Gerry
