Help with the ole tick tick tick

I just had both the driver and passenger manifolds replaced. Initially I had the bad ticking from one side (fixed it) then the other side started within a month. I do believe a couple of bolts broke off when trying to remove, but all was replaced and it's running quiet again. 73k miles.

    RAM 3500 multiple electrical/computer issues

I had both rear light assemblies off to inspect the connections and if there was any sign of water damage. Nothing was noticeable at all. Perfectly dry. I also disconnected and inspected the BSM module on both sides and all looked good there. I didn't need too, but I wiped all connections...

    Blind spot alert unavailable

Any luck on a fix? I took my light assembly off this morning and inspected both. There is zero sign of water/moisture damage and the harnesses look new. I cleaned them up and put some dielectric grease on the BSM module as well as the harness for the light assembly. The lights all work fine...

    RAM 3500 multiple electrical/computer issues

I also am interested in what the fix for the "Blind Spot Unavailable" is. I have a 2019 Laramie having the same issue. Thanks.

Do you know what this is?

Kind of looks like part of a hitch receiver pin lock.

    Android Auto sound

I have wireless Android Auto in my '19 Laramie and it works perfectly. I bought one of these. They are great! I leave my phone in the wireless charging port and have no issues. I never used AA when it required a cable. Now I have it on every drive...

    Wiress charging pod

I run my wireless Android Auto while the phone sits in the Ram wireless charger and it keeps it at 100% no issues. Phone is a Galaxy S21 if that makes any difference.

Active Air Dam Warranty Letter from FCS

I got the letter as well just the other day. No issue, but the letter will go in the glovebox just in case.

    Black trucks

My last two Rams have been black. They are a pain in the a$$ to keep clean, but I don't think there is a better looking truck when clean. I keep up with washes and ceramic coatings pretty well, but still it's a lot of work. If you don't plan on putting in the work, i'd avoid the black.

2019 Laramie LED reverse bulb size?

Does anyone know off hand what the factory LED reverse light bulb size is on the 19 Ram Laramie? Thank you in advance.

Unpopular opinion(?): I like the 4th gen styling better than 5th gen

Sorry, but no way. 5th Gen is far more aggressive and looks so much better. My last truck was a '11 Laramie (Gen 4) and it was a great truck as well. I just think the look of my 5th Gen is far superior. My Just my 2 cents.

    Glovebox

There is "accent" lighting above the upper glovebox door that is controlled by the interior light switch. That switch also controls the door, dash, and floor lighting as well I believe. I think you can make them all super dim, but i'm not sure if you can turn it all the way off. They are...

Dear people who keep their tow mirrors extended when not towing…

I had exactly that happen on my previous Ram (2011 Laramie). Some jack@ss was hugging the centerline with big tow mirrors and smacked into my mirror. Thankfully, mine just popped inward with a few scratches on the housing. His however, completely shattered and was hanging. I know because I...

    Phone Charging Question.

That's what I was thinking. You can see the square charging pad pretty clearly. Perhaps on future generations they can make the pad a little larger.

Interior overhead map lights and tailgate release no longer work on overhead console

My 2019 Ram Laramie had the same issue last year. I took the overhead panel down and disconnected the wiring harness and re-connected it. My overhead console lights and tailgate release have been working since.
