Active Air Dam Warranty Letter from FCS

Anyone else get this in the last couple days? the dealer already addressed this issue no cost..claim form on rear if you paid to get it fixed.

Yes, I got one yesterday. I haven't had that issue, didn't even know about it. I went ahead and put in my glove box, hopefully I don't need it.

a member here had an issue with it staying down and got a code. dealer was asking for $250 just to diagnose.

It just throws a check engine light.

i had a chck eng light come on brought it in to the dealer and whatever code it was told them the air dam sensor or
something was bad with the air dam honestly i cant rememeber what they fixed..at least the issue is being addressd and
people can get remiembursement

Just got my FCA letter. I had the problem months ago. Yes, there was a CEL with an AGS error. Ended up being the AAD so I disconnected it. Not sure if I should look into this or just leave it. Might not be worth the trouble. Thoughts?

I got the letter too. I havent had an issue as of yet, but I will keep the letter with my vehicle papers and if needed I can present it.

I removed mine to, and no cell, but good to know the warranty was extended in case I ever put it back and it fails on me

Just got my letter after going rounds and rounds with corporate about them not honoring my warranty. My local dealer is great. They exhausted all sources trying to get Ram to cover it. After weeks going back and forth with Ram, apparently they're all covered now. You're welcome folks. LOL

I got the letter as well just the other day. No issue, but the letter will go in the glovebox just in case.

Got the letter last week. The dealer called it "Active Grill Shutter" (AGS) and it was causing a check engine light. Since it was still under warranty they replaced it for free!

Yup. The CEL will say AGS but it’s actually the AAD. Go figure
