I’m not sure. You tube “Ram slip yoke” and you will see GM, Ford and Ram all the same issues. Ford had a recall only on the Raptors for the issue but said FU to everyone else. They have a grease kit you can buy to address the issue. You basically just pack it full of grease on the splines...
It’s the driveshaft. The slip yoke needs to be greased on the inside. The inside nickel plating was done incorrectly or not enough. Ford has the same problem.
Mine is doing the same thing but haven' t been able to take it into the dealership due to it not happening all the time. I always have to do my homework first before bringing it in the shop because they won't even attempt to fix it.
They replaced my driveshaft and it fixed it for now. I’ve driven about 500 miles to far and love it. I’ve read a few post when it drives good for the first 2000 miles then it comes back. Time will tell. I will update if it comes back.
Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted on the fix. Mine is currently doing this now and I’m putting it in the shop on Monday to get the PCM and TCM flashed. It seems from what I read that this won’t fix it.
Yup. Feature is currently on. I turned it off to see if I could notice the difference and turned it back on. Nothing moves. My wife had a grand Cherokee and you can see them do all the time and I don’t see anything on this truck.
I’ve turn this feature off and when I turn fog light still comes on in the direction that I’m turning. I’ve double checked to make sure the feature was off several times and the fog lights still come on while turning. I don’t notice the headlights turning at all. My wife’s Ranchera key add this...
