I can give it a try with both keys. But the issue is with the drivers door only. There’s no problem unlocking, locking, or starting the truck. It’s just when you open the one door specifically nothing happens; to the steps or the dash. It’s just not registering that the door is now open. Some...
I don’t think this is related to the TSB. The issue here is that the running boards don’t open or deploy because the truck is not registering that the door is opened or closed. As soon as that registers the boards deploy or stow correctly. At least my issue is related to the door itself because...
I’ve had a similar problem. Where I go to step out and almost fall out as there’s no step there. Do you by chance know where the door sensor is that they replaced? I might have to check some connections and see if something is lose.
I have the same problem with my 2019 Limited. It’s intermittent. I’m guessing it’s not the step itself but there’s an electrical connection issue that’s not registering the door being opened. Hence the electronics not turning off. I haven’t really corrected it is I’m dreading taking the door...
Anybody else had these issues and replaced the motor? Did that fix it? I’m having the same issues with my drivers side not working right. Sometimes it works as normal. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Sometimes it’s just slow.
I mean, I don’t really think their employees give a crap if you’ve got aftermarket parts on the truck or not. I doubt the tech is gonna taddle to the manager when he sees aftermarket UCAs or something. They just can’t sell you the package if you openly admit to modifying the suspension.
In my...
I purchased the lifetime alignment from Firestone as I was planning on leveling the truck. Do not tell them you are leveling it. They will not offer the lifetime option if you’ve added aftermarket suspension parts. Just tell them it’s out of alignment.
The air ride won’t level it unless you get custom links or adjust the height with AlfaOBD. I did mine with AlfaOBD. I added the spacers to keep the ride smoother. The front airbag and shock are one single unit. I’m at 80k.
I just replaced mine. I used OEM in the rear as I prefer the soft ride of them. Very easy to install. I also replaced the fronts. The airbag and shock are one unit. It’s a lot of work but I also put on spacers to level it.
I did that and it was real nice. But then I learned you can use AlfaOBD and raise them via computer. I decided to try and add an extra inch all around. I think I broke something because even lowering back to “41 inches at the wheel well it has never rode the same. I’ve replaced the rear shocks...
Looks real good. I have the same size tires. I leveled mine by adjusting the height of each sensor in AlfaOBD. Was wondering what the center of wheel wells measures at from the ground. I’m trying to get mine back to stock height with a front level. I’m at 41” right now. But I think it might be...
So would you say it’s safe to say to upgrade to the GT exhaust you’d only need to order the left pipe with the muffler? Since the resonators are the same? And not both part numbers?
