Just finished up changing out the grill letters and the Rams head on the tailgate. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. RAM letters are supper easy, (as another member said, 5 minutes tops). The tailgate was a bit more difficult with removing all the left over adhesive.

I’ll get around to the doors and hood a bit later, but so far, it’s looking pretty good.

I pulled off the grille letters and painted them to match the truck, I think it looks a lot better than all black up there. I still have to do the door letters, but haven’t decided on black or just debadging. View attachment 15048
Where did you get the Bug deflector?

Ah, Those pesky Kings....it’s a great rivalry, isn’t it. SoCal hockey is kinda sucking this season though.

By the way, great looking truck you have there!!

Is plasti dip the only option to black out the LIMITED badge? Any other suggestions? I haven’t seen it addressed here.

I'm sure you can check with many people about it. I have used a guy named Josh at Avondale Auto / Ram in AZ. He has been able to get me all of my parts and he will post for you on ebay if not there yet. May give him a try. On Ebay...just hit the Contact Seller and it goes to him.

I did mine too...so much better than chrome...

Is that a cartoon inlay on the ram head for the tailgate?

I'm trying to figure out what to do there. I have the stock chrome and black one, but it's a bit too much chrome. I have over lays on the others and like how they have the small chrome accent. Trying to figure out how to break up the straight black ram head a bit.

Sorry...might be early here...not sure what you mean by cartoon inlay. This is the all black Ram head for tailgate. Stock Mopar part. Here is where I bought mine on Ebay...

Is your hood reflector the sleek low profile version? Thanks

Sounds like you guys are knowledgeable about body stuff here. Does ANYONE know how to remove that Sport hood rear bezel with the 1500 badges without breaking the clips? Mine does not fit flush. I can fix it if I can get it off. Thanks.

Did mine a few weeks ago...Bought on Amazon from Ram dealer in AZ with Mopar parts. It was a lot of work to remove the old ones, but worth it. Put one chrome before pix. Will do the hood next. If you need, I can outline how I did mine.

Curious to know if you happened to recently wax/polish your truck or is it just new as the paint in the pictures look better than others with the same color?

Ok, who is going to admit they scratched their truck or damaged the paint while removing these badges?

How durable is that dip stuff especially on the grill which is exposed to lots of rocks and other road debris?

I removed my badges without scratching the paint, Goo gone for 5 minutes than apply heat (too much heat will damage the paint) and use fish wire in a back and forth action. Than buy a rubber adhesive remover wheel (amazon 14$). Ill post pics tm
