Added Rough Country SF1 fender flares since the 2024 Laramie doesn’t include stock flares. The paint match is perfect and my tires are now even with the flares. No poke. View attachment 177021 View attachment 177022 View attachment 177023
Looks 🔥this build is amazing.

Any chance you know what the height of your truck measures out to be with the 2” leveling kit and 35” tires?

I have ‘22 Laramie same exact build as yours but stock. Looking to do virtually the same thing but have some height restrictions.

Thanks in advance and cheers!

I’m out of town for a few weeks. I’ll get you a measurement when I get back. 2” level kit and 35” tires. I believe stock rubber was around 32”

No worries man, and yeah stock is around 32”. Whenever you get a chance it’s greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Nice looking truck. Any issues with balancing those Klevers? Mine have been giving me fits since day one.
I got the wheel/tire package off customoffsets

1 set came with like 23 weights on it but I reached out to boogielander and he told me to see where the yellow dot is and that it should be aligned with the valve stem. Which it is not so I’m going to reach out to customs and see what they can do. But so far being brand new they ride super soft (no vibration 🤞) a little louder than my worn out ridge grapplers but the thicker sidewall is a plus.

The 3 other wheels have 5-6 weights and the dots are aligned with the valve stems.

I plan on doing a chalk test soon to get the tire pressure spot on. What psi are you running yours at?

I ran the Klever RTs for around 20k miles or so. For the most part, I thought they were great (especially at the price point I bought mine at). I did have a weird and intermittent vibration with a pretty significant steering wheel shake at times. The issue would come and go at completely random times. One day it would ride rough going to work, but ride incredibly smooth on my way home. A few days later it would be the complete opposite but on the exact same commute. Smooth on the way to work and then rough on the way home.

I always chalked it up to the balance beads. I read horror stories about balance beads and assumed the inconsistency was from the beads failing to balance properly at times. Well long story short, I ended up selling the tires to a local guy I knew when I upgraded to my current wheel and tire setup. I gave him the heads up and told him about the balance bead issue. He had his setup mounted and balanced with traditional wheel weights and he said the ride quality was terrible. After several reattempts, the shop determined two tires to be out of round. Had I known, I would have warrantied them back when I had them but I thought the balance beads were the issue the entire time. My assumption now is that the balance beads were actually doing a halfway decent job at compensating for the out of round tires which is why I only had the vibration issue on occasion.

I liked the tires overall, and I think the value is definitely there if you can manage to get a good set, but it seems like the quality can be hit or miss.

I have been playing with the psi for months now and found 36-38 to be the sweet spot for ride quality. I've had mine rebalanced twice and still have a constant vibration in the seats anytime I go over 5O mph. Price point was good for these tires but at what cost. Hopefully you have better luck.

23 weights is just crazy. I'm not sure how that got through quality control lol.

How many miles have you put on yours?

Yea I agree I’m waiting for custom to email me back.

I have roughly 17k miles on them now. I rotate them every 5k and they seem to wearing pretty even. Other than the slight vibration I have been pretty happy with the performance of them in all conditions. They will pick up and sling some rocks though.

That’s good to hear

I got a message from customs and they told me they will reimburse me for a balance so I’ll do that next week.

You guys should look into venom power (yes that’s the real name) terra hunter tires. I’ve been extremely happy with them. They do make a little noise but I kinda like it lol. Awesome in rain and snow. Haven’t been into too much mud but they’re aggressive looking and my truck rides perfectly smooth

I second that! I’ve also used them in the mid a few times and they work well.
