Driver's seat is brutal!

You can chose to raise the front between 3/8” to 1 1/8” height so not a huge change.

If you move your steering wheel down from the top by a similar range and see how it works for you now, I’d imagine that would give you a good indicator.

Don't go out of your way to take a picture, but if you have a side picture with the seat trim installed and the seat jackers installed could you post it?

Sure, I also posted some tips on how to install it, there were a few minor differences in the instructions and installation tips I thought could help people.

Will get that posted later today along with the pic.

No, you still have the seat height adjustment to get it perfect, you don't have to go all the way to the top, plus you have your steering wheel tilt and telescope adjustment to tune it further. But that being said, my seat is adjusted all the way up and I have zero issues with the bottom of the steering wheel being an issue with my legs, and I have long legs.

That's another one of my concerns as well. Adjusting my tilt steering is not an option since it's already up as far as it will go and my legs are pretty close to the bottom of the steering wheel. To get a somewhat comfortable seat angle, the front of my seat is also as high as it goes and the back of the seat is a low as it goes. The tilt wheel in my 23 does not raise nearly as high as the tilt wheel in my 4th gen 2017.

If you have telescoping wheel, pull it out further and it will sit a little higher

Thanks, but it's up as far as it will go and out as far as it will go. I figured out how those goofy tilt/telescopic steering wheels worked a little over 45 years ago when I borrowed by parents Chrysler New Yorker.

I still know people who don't realize they are telescoping, even though they have had a vehicle with telescoping wheel for years

Besides the steering wheel, you don't need to push your seat all the way up, you can probably find a happy medium between the taller height of the seat jackers and then adjust the front of your seat downwards should it be too tall for you.

I had to do this. With the seat jackers, all the way up in front was too high with the rear all the way down. So about halfway up, then I had to scoot seat forward some

Yes, my last 3 Rams had very confrontable seats; my newest one does not.

That's amazing. I was always a huge fan of my dad's Ram seats. He has a 2020, same year as mine, but i could sit in them for hours with no issues. I think that part that's bothering me the most is it feels like there's a cushion about half way up my back that presses too much against my back. Not sure what to do. I bought the seat jackers and will hope for the best.

Here you go, here is the seat jackets installed at the highest point with the seat trim installed. The OEM all weather mats do a decent job in hiding the additional height at the base. Seats 1.jpg Seats 2.jpg

I'm really hoping the jackers will solve my back pain from these seats. Thanks for posting the photos

I think so, it was a permanent fix for me. I mean the pain was enough I was actually considering getting a different vehicle, the seat jackers have solved that.

Here are my installation notes (in additional to the factory instructions you will get).

- The factory seat bolts are 12mm E-Torx (my instructions said they were 14mm, they were not), and they are on pretty snug all the way from beginning to the end of their removal, estimate about 10 ft-lbs all the way through. You should use a socket wrench to remove them.

- You only need to remove the front bolts completely. Don't let the squeaky noise as you unscrew them scare you, there is a pressure clip/nut under the seat mount that makes that noise. Luckily you only need to loosen the rear bolts for installation, don't remove them completely, just enough so you can pull the seat back and place the spacers in position.

- The plastic covers that cover the front seat bolts are removed by pulling them towards you. Just grab them with both hands and pull towards you, they will snap off.

- The right rear seat bolt is exposed, the left rear seat bolt you need to use a flat head screwdriver to remove a small plastic cover to expose the bolt head. Again, you only need to loosen these bolts, don't remove them completely.

- You will need to slide your seat forward and back all the way to access both the front and rear bolts at different times.

They must have updated the instructions. Mine had an edit to them to show the E12 as correct size. I actually had to go buy a etorx socket set as I didn't have one, and while I have gotten by with regular sockets in the past, decided I needed to just add some to my tool box to have correct tools.

Cool, I'm sure I wasn't the only person to let them know that it was actually a 12mm bolt, glad they updated their instructions.

My too on the etorx, I only had a screwdriver set and that wasn't going to work, Harbor Freight had a good set for like $5-$10.
