Front Sway Bar End Links, possible solution

Honestly, I noticed a bit of a difference in stiffness by just replacing the end links. I also have the ORP springs in the front so I think the Hellwig bar in the front would be a bit to much stiffness for me 🤣. I am still curious to hear other peeps reviews of it though.
I just put mine on and I noticed a pretty significant difference too. I felt it as much as I felt my rear Hellwig sway bar when I had it on the lightest setting.

Did you have to put the truck on a lift or can this easily be done while the truck is in the ground?
Easily done on the ground. I'm lifted a bit so it's easier to crawl around underneath. Ramps might make it a bit easier if you are on stock suspension.

Same here. I have 3.5 Readylift with top hat spacer and using the bilstein 5100 on circlip 5. My ride was great when I first got it but noticed after a while I felt more front body movement and just more of the road. I am thinking it’s the sway bar end links being too short and the sway bar not angled right after all the driving. Thinking this may help the ride.

Oh yeah didn't notice that in your signature. It will help with front end stability for sure. I feel like the ride stiffened up a bit in the front but it might be due to warmer weather and my tires needing aired down a bit.

I'm riding on stock height right now on my Rebel and started getting a front end clunk going over uneven surfaces at slow speeds. I need to see if I can duplicate it to the point of getting mine replaced. I'm at 11k miles now.
What did you find out with what was causing the noise? I get a low speed clunk with my 2020 Rebel too. I have 2 in pucks and RC UCA for 3-3.5 lift. I have taken it to multiple garages and the everything is tight.

Check clearance between the spring and the control arm when the suspension drops down its a good chance it might be hitting causing it to clunk. Thats an issue with the puck style spacers basically pushes the spring down lower and when his imperfections/bumps etc the control arm hits the coil spring. The fix would be to lift it using Bilstein 5100 instead of the top strut spacers.

I had this issue after triple checking everything was tight I jacked the front end up and noticed barely any clearance between the coil spring and control arm..I marked the spring with a paint pen and drove it up the road where it dipped and seen the wear. Waterfowler41 on youtube had a good video about this on with his Rebel.

Dealership in Carson City identified this issue as requiring new Link Kits (stabilizer bars & bushings) and it did fix this issue for about 15 months. Now the "fix" they offer is a $1,000 sway bar replacement along with labor to do the work? Seems like a common issue in RAM 1500 models...

Of course I wouldn't replace the sway bar just because the end links go bad. The sway bar simply has holes in the ends that any level of quality end links can be bolted to. Why do stealerships have a bad name again?

On warranty work sometimes the dealers hands are tied on what they can do, and what they have to replace.

I have a 2” level on my truck. Was whisper quiet for several thousand miles after installation, now suddenly my front sway bar links are popping. I crawled under and grabbed the sway bar and by hand I can push up and pull down with force and I can hear the sway bar links moving. All hardware is tight. The link itself seems to be failing at the control arm fastener. Ugh…

I have been happy with my suspensionmaxx end links, been running them for about 6 months or so. I would recommend thread lock on all studs 👍.

Well the options SuspensionMAXX has are 19mm or 21mm sway link nuts. My truck has neither. Mine are 18mm. So I ordered the 19mm since that was closest. I hope they work. Those things are PRICEY for what they are.

I don't see the 21mm option on their site at all under RAM 1500. 19mm worked for me.
