Yes, Ram calls it Ceramic Gray though. Was one of the Navy colors.

LOVE that color! Almost bought a Rubicon Gladiator that color (well, Sting Gray). I would love for my Rebel to be that color.

I took mine to the dealer today with a little over 1300 miles on it for a warranty repair. They replaced the right side CV axle after the boot leaked grease everywhere. Glad that's fixed!

I had some grease in my passenger front wheel when I took them off to get the tires swapped over. I haven't checked again yet to see if it came back. I'll have to go take a look I guess.

Definitely take a look at it. I've read about others with the exact same issue... The clamps weren't tightened correctly on the CV boots.

Did an oil change, used the SRT filter (5038041AA). After installing I understand why RAM switched to the smaller filter when they started using electric power steering. There was a half inch or less gap between the power steering and the filter. That doesn't leave much wiggle room, engine movement in an extreme case might allow the filter to hit the power steering causing a puncture. Long story short the SRT filter was removed and put on a WIX 57060 XP

I've been using the SRT filter since my first oil change two years ago. No issues what so ever. Would rather have the slight inconvenience of getting the larger filter in and out in exchange for better filtration.

You would have to break an engine mount to cause the filter to hit anything. And at that point, the filter making contact with power steering probably isn't your biggest concern

I finished the siding on my new workshop and figured I'd spoil my truck for a night and actually park it inside for a change. Once I get the inside done and move in all my tools, she'll get banished to the covered area.

She's developed a slight exhaust tick on the passenger side so I'll have to address that on my next days off. I'm assuming a loose or broken exhaust stud but haven't had the time to investigate. I'll likely be fixing it myself since the dealer wants the truck for 3-5 days to check a trouble code so I can only imagine how long they'll want it to do any actual work.

The install was fine, the clearance once installed gave me a feeling of dread. I've had an oil filter puncture before due to an oversized filter on a different vehicle so the bias was already planted. The clearance is probably a non issue as the web doesn't return any horror stories, but Murphy's Law dictates I would be the first.

Finished up my new steering wheel install. Overall very straight forward once you get the air bag out of the way (CAREFULLY). Here's a walk through showing how to remove the air bag, steering wheel, and swap over the controls. I also show the pinout guides for the heating controls. This is probably my favorite interior project to date with this truck.

You don't need a bigger filter, you'll be fine.
My heavily modded Z06 (ERL 434 stroker) with a modded oiling system still uses the stock sized filter which is about the same size as the 57060 (51042XP or M1-107)) and its been fine. Change the filter in-between oil changes if you're concerned about filtering quality/capability.
I use the 57060XP on my truck, tried a bigger filter on the 2nd oil change and noticed a small leak a week later, saw oil spots on the tailgate and instantly knew it was a leak from underneath.
The filter had a small crack in it and was leaking under pressure. I don't know what caused the crack but I went back to the stock sized filter and haven't changed since.
Its easier to change the filter in-between oil changes (if necessary) than worry about an oil filter issue.
