What did you do to your Ram today???

I saved this to try next time. How do you like this method of paint correction vs clay bar? Clay bar works but a bit of a pain - I just did my wife’s black 2020 Durango yesterday & looking to ceramic coat today.

That’s a helluva price deal for that system! I’d take one of those too at that price. Heck, even 400 isn’t too bad compared to some of the other systems I’ve seen.

I clayed it too but I used a Nano Skin fine pad instead of the clay bar. The clay bars are a PITA to me and were inconsistent/streaky. I've been using these for the last 5 years and they are much easier to use

I have a medium and a fine clay pads but since my truck has full PPF on the front, I used the fine grade per LLumar's recommendation.
Clay barring alone doesn't remove swirls in paint but it cleans the paint so its glass smooth. As to how I like this method I do the same thing for paint correction every time: pads, polisher and compound so this isn't a new or different way for me.

That’s a lot of weight in all those photos too! Glad to hear it handled well. We have a boiler for the house & make yearly trips to a friends property to clear out some space for him & take the wood for free. We usually go with 2-4 trucks, 3 of which are Ram’s but I’m the only one with the self leveling so I plan on loading the bed & pulling the small single axle this time. I didn’t have this truck last year.

I rented a 2900lb uhaul trailer and loaded it with 3000lbs of landscape stone, truck self leveled and drove perfectly normal. I was kinda surprised at the fact that the truck looked as though there was no weight on the hitch. My previous none air ride truck squatted

You have a Vette, right? My dad has build a few over the years. Just sold his 69 sting ray and dropped an LS3 into a 66 Mustang, added turbo, methanol, etc etc. I sold my Trans Am in April & miss it but want to get into something sporty that the family could all fit in as well.

Well, I used my truck like a truck. And she ain’t gonna get washed anytime soon either. And it will be a drive through car wash when it happens.

Bed space and payload is pretty limited in these new trucks so you know I miss my old 2500 on days like this. The only truck I wish I never sold.

Guess I’m buying another sun visor… this time the driver side broke in the same place the passenger one did about a year ago. Just ordered the new one and it appears the part number has been superseded 5 times kinda surprised my May-2020 built truck has a sun visor from October 2019.

Ceramic coating done, its Miller Time now






Used Avalon King and CarPro UK Quartz 3.0 to see if there was any difference.
Both were very easy to use CarPro seemed a little thicker. I kinda expected a little gloss increase but I guess the polish and the Rupes pads had already maximized that and its overcast. I was going to apply a coat of Jescar Power Lock Plus sealer which does add a lot of gloss but you cant use that before ceramic coating.

Exactly. Like some sort of a bs excuse for being lazy and not taking time to clean things. My neighbor cleans his dump truck every weekend, which he uses like “a real truck”

I clean my Dirtbike after every ride that gets used like “ a real Dirtbike”

Having a dirty vehicle isn’t a badge of honor. It just shows you don’t care about it. Or anyone who has to work on it.

Yep, good friend of mine owns a dump truck company, has 10 trucks with pup trailers like the two below. Monday through Saturday, they run sand from Red River in OK to home builders in North Dallas, every Saturday they all get cleaned.
