Why wait? You can chop them off now so when you drive by people, it will sound like 100 grandmas with a bad case of the walking farts

Thought about it. But My ocd won’t allow for the bumper cutouts to not be fulfilled!

Added some red piping just to do something else to it. Because why not

Let's just say 'my thumbs are still sore lol.

The little spreader tool was pretty useful...a bit of a pain to get in and started, but once it was in - good to go

Looks nice, how is it compared to the factory ride?

It seems like it's a little more stiff? Could just be in my head, feels very similar but just not as soft. I also put Rough Country shocks in the back.

I installed a front camera into the grill of my truck the other day. The picture quality looks like absolute butt, so I ordered a replacement camera. I got that this morning and hooked it up, but the picture quality is still trash. I guess the video connector I made is bad. I ordered a Z automotive connector because I was getting the runaround on the uninsulated female spade terminals that go into the back of the radio.

I plan on doing a write up with a bunch of pictures, but here’s a few in the meantime.

Defective connector (maybe) that I made:

Connector installed:

At this point my replacement camera looks the same as the original, so either this camera just sucks or it’s the video connector like I’m thinking. The pictures doesn’t do justice for how bad it looks. (It looks 8-bit like nintendo)

Might just be some signal interference. Maybe try shielding the wires?

I wonder if that might be more effort than it’s worth considering z-automotive does theirs unshielded. I feel like a lot of people would’ve complained if their adapter was crap. Stock is definitely shielded though, so I may go that route if the zauto harness doesn’t improve anything. I’m hedging my bets on my less than one dollar homemade adapter just being subpar, so fingers crossed.

I also dammaged both thumbs, but the trim just popped out as i got to the other end of the line.
Ahh. This stuff had a pretty thick, ribbed base. I can send you the link to what I got if you're interested!

Sorry Nick, what a shame, I hope everyone is doing well.
No one is injured. I'm just super pissed being the she lied about what happened and since no one pulled over to give a statement neither of us was found at fault. Trust me though I will be going after her with my insurance being that I know she caused the accident and lied about it. The damage on both vehicles collaborates my side of the story.

Washed my wheels because the OEM brake pads put off a crazy amount of dust. Look at that beautiful water beading action from my DIY ceramic coat.

Wait...what did you use? I need to do this on my fuel wheels before I install them.

Installed the Course Motorsports magnet mount wireless charger the other day. Just didn't post pictures. Spliced into the 12v accessory port and added another 12v port behind radio so I could hide the connection with the cigarette lighter. Doing this way frees up my other USB-C port.

Today I installed the AAwireless module so that I don't have to plug in for my Android Auto (hence wireless charger). Ran a different cable for it (came with USB-A to USB-C) I changed to USB-C to USB-C with angled ports for a nice close install on the port. Then I ran the cable down under the center console and stuck the unit under the passenger seat on the center console with velcro. Nice clean install and hidden away. Now to give it a try and see how it works.

Did you remove each wheel so you could apply the ceramic behind the spokes? I'd like to apply ceramic coating to my wheels but my wheels are matte black and I don't want to make them shiny. Maybe there's a matte finish ceramic coating?? So far I haven't noticed any brake dust on my wheels, which was a nice surprise. My wife's Macan is horrible. They are coated with black dust a couple of days after I wash the car.

Edit: I just did a quick search and there are ceramic coatings for matte wheels. Now to find the best product.
