What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed the Course Motorsports magnet mount wireless charger the other day. Just didn't post pictures. Spliced into the 12v accessory port and added another 12v port behind radio so I could hide the connection with the cigarette lighter. Doing this way frees up my other USB-C port.

Today I installed the AAwireless module so that I don't have to plug in for my Android Auto (hence wireless charger). Ran a different cable for it (came with USB-A to USB-C) I changed to USB-C to USB-C with angled ports for a nice close install on the port. Then I ran the cable down under the center console and stuck the unit under the passenger seat on the center console with velcro. Nice clean install and hidden away. Now to give it a try and see how it works.

How does the AA Wireless sound, similar to bluetooth, or like you are actually hooked up and hard wired to the truck? I get annoyed by the sound quality of the bluetooth when paired, but like the wireless option of the AA system. Where did you purchase the AA system, as when I last checked they were back ordered pretty far out into next year? I like your clean setup!

Just got the phone call lift kit (BDS 4inch air ride) and Tires (Nitto Grapplers 35X12.5R20) are at the shop. 2 weeks out on install date. Got my wheels Brixton Forged ready and cross drilled rotors all ready to go.
Damn I’m excited to see some Brixton Forged wheels on the truck!

Let the fun begin!

Got the box mostly built. Went crazy with the glue since the angles were a little tricky. I'll finish the caulk tonight and add the carpet and bolt through style terminals in the next few days. Managed 0.9 cu ft based on my redneck math.

It extends all the way to the other side of the cab to replace the factory cargo management system.

So, in the next few days, I'll finish the rest.

In the end I'll have:

- All five 3.5" infinity reference speakers for dash and ceiling (already installed those.
- CDT carbon fiber slim 6x9s for the front doors
- Infinity reference 6x9 2 ways for the rear doors
- Sundown Audio E-10 500w RMS subwoofer
- Alpine 500w mono amp
- PAC subwoofer interface module
- 72 Sq ft of 8mm butyl sound deadener
- 72 Sq ft of 150 mil closed cell foam sound deadener

My back and hands are sore just thinking about it all.

Yes there is. If you look at various window stickers. This is with a 3.92.

I have to find my window sticker. But I believe it was closer to 24 for highway rating with the 3.21 gear set. I know there were two different numbers because I searched for the 3.21 gears in a truck after seeing the difference

Weirdly mine is higher! Maybe because mine has etorque? Doesn’t matter because I get 13mpg now lol

The AAwireless gets plugged into one of the media USB ports. It connects with both Bluetooth and WiFi. It uses the Bluetooth for a quick connection and then switches to WiFi. I don't notice any quality loss but this is very subjective. As we all have different definitions when it comes to audio quality. But compared to plug in I don't notice anything bad. Plus this thing gets rave reviews from so many purchasers. So basically WiFi is the final connection to the module which is then plugged into the USB port.

As for the purchase of the AAwireless, the only place is Indiegogo and right now the perks are shipping for Jan 2022. I ordered my October perk on July 25. Item was shipped October 21st and arrived November 9th. You've got to remember, this is a crowd funding thing and therefore you are not actually purchasing a product like from Amazon. You are buying into the project and as I thank you get the "perk" so in this case the actual project. Also another thing to note is the global chip shortage which slows everything down (even these trucks have limited options now because of the chip shortage) and lastly there's really is no other options for wireless Android Auto so your options really are limited to be honest. I went into it know that it would be 4 months or more before I got it, but I was more then happy to wait. Not like I'm selling my truck anytime soon. In the short time I've owned this, I think it's well worth the money and I'd buy another one if I needed one. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to cut the cord. Saves my phone's charging port and the PITA to plug it in eveytime I run in to a store and back to the truck.

Thanks for the compliment on the clean setup. The less wires I see the better.

Painted my calipers in VHT Burnt Copper today. It’s way more noticeable in person than it is in pictures! I’m definitely going to add some more small pops of this color on the truck. Matches the interior really well too! DD15E8F7-01B9-4B04-9321-2D0B86071AC1.jpeg

Yes, that’s the easiest way to add on an aftermarket camera. I have do some more research, but I believe if I want 360 view and to have it as the front camera, I’d need about $1k worth of extra stuff. I did this install for $30.
Do you have parts list you used?
I'm off-roading with my truck often, wanted front camera only. But was going put 360. Now I'm thinking maybe cargo camera way is better option.
When I priced out changes I would need to go to 360, it was around $1500-$2000 but I'm in Canada.

Paint your badges that color should add just enough contrast

Do you know what the item number is for the phone mount? I can't seem to find it on the website.

Here is the link to the mount for our 2019+ trucks. From there you select what side you want (right or left side of radio) and which mount you want magnet, magnet charging and auto grip charging.

Thank you, just ordered it yesterday!

After 2 failed attempts at getting a bug deflector that fit right, I finally just went with the MOPAR matte black deflector. Got it at the dealership with a veteran discount for $95. I like it much better than the weathertech that dug into the top part of my grille a little bit and the avs aeroskin that didn't fit around the curves.

Where did the weathertech deflector hit? I just installed it on mine but truthfully I didn't pay attention to it as I was in a hurry.

Also, I figured out how to remove my chrome trim from my handles and paint them to match the color of my wheels. Forgot about all that haha. I only have chrome on the tailgate handle now, but going to order that one blue since remove the chrome piece is a pain from what I can tell.

Got a closeup side view of the deflector? Debating on which one to get myself.
