What did you do to your Ram today???

Just got the wheels on. Pictures don’t do justice on the awsome convex look of these wheels. My truck definitely needs a lift (it has a reverse level right now). Hopefully Real Truck’s resolution department gets the right lift kit for me from Eibach quickly.

Wheels: 22x10 -19 offset Fuel Contras in black/machine finish.

Tires: Toyo Open Country AT3 LT 285/50/22. 33” tall and 11.5 wide.

My wallet: 😥

wow! that looks amazing!

Well I ordered the rear half of the 2/4 kit from maxtrac had the front struts decided to just do the rear!
And got some nitro 420v 305/40/22 tires, as far as rims go it’s between the factory reps hellcats, and 2 others.

Please post pics when you’re done. This is the setup I’m debating on taking.

i added the 12" screen protector and the passenger side foam cup holder in the door. it will probably never get used, but it seemed odd to have cup holders on the driver side only.

Got a Ram Mount for my dash. Took the plunge and de-googled my phone, so Android Auto no longer works, but I'm OK with that.

How are you going to survive without our lord and saviour, the almighty Google?

Got my lift on and 35s on my stock 22”.

I think this is the right direction to take, putting larger tires on the 22" wheels, rather than figuring out whether 18" wheels can go back on a Ram fitted with 22s. A neighbor friend who works in the 4X4 aftermarket said it wasn't possible? But were I ever to go off-road, I'd obviously want taller sidewalls and more ground clearance. How much lift did you get here? Was it a DIY, or did you have a shop do it? What was your cost? I haven't decided whether to sacrifice fuel economy, and I'm not yet ready to take my 2021 off-road -- undercarriage is very clean and very minimal scratches / marks. But eventually!

Repurposed my fire extinguisher from my Ranger into my Ram. Had to change the mount a bit though. Tigged up a new mount out of aluminum, and installed some rivnuts with my new harbor freight gun. My first time messing with rivnuts, kinda handy little buggers. Hopefully it's not enough weight to do any damage to the bed panel. It feels pretty solid.

Dropped my Ram off at the dealership at 8am. Went to breakfast. They called about 1.5 hours later. They replaced my battery under warranty. Hopefully that will be the end of it. I wish they would have done that last week when all this first happened, instead of trying to blame my so called aftermarket "upgrades".

If anyone needs/wants a Roar Pedal, let me know. (y)

Hope that clears it out. I was curious what the outcome was.

Finally got my AlfaOBD to activate all the trailer brake options after adding the brake controller. It shows on the radio screen but still nothing on the dash. Does anybody know what I need to turn on so I can see the gain readout on the dash?

Sounds like somebody loves listening to their exhaust a little too often….

Btw, that guy gets 13mpg. 😜
Oh I do step on the throttle a bit much, however, my truck rarely sees the highway as I drive about 5miles to work.

I don't really pay that much attention to the MPG as I knew what I was getting into with the HEMI and 3.92s.

You might try searching for EVIC and see if it lists the options.

Now, I want to put my LED lights back in. :ROFLMAO: But, I probably won't.
Just throw them back on. There has been a ton of trucks with bad batteries. The quality of batteries has gone down tremendously, imo.

Mine went out at 14k miles and my truck was a year old. Dealer said it was good, and I didn't have the time or patience to prove them otherwise so I just bought another one.
