Actually at first I think it just popped off. It was the driving over it that did it in. It broke the chrome cap and glass lense. Everything behind it is loose, like the LED light for signal. I wonder if I can pick up the cap AND plastic? I looked but can only find the cap. If anyone knows the part numbers for the clear plastic and the chrome cap, I’d appreciate it.
So as long as it doesn’t wiggle around you should be able to just get the chrome cap fairly easy. The lens is a little bit more difficult from what I’ve heard of. It’s fairly easy to replace it as well.

I'm the opposite. I'd rather do/try anything than have someone touch my ride.

If you get the nerve, these are some of the easiest door panels I've ever taken off.

I’ll second that. I swapped out my tow mirrors, it probably took 20 minutes to do both.

Painted my rear with rustoleum enamel and undercoated the truck with acf50. Including inside the rockers. On this nice 60* day before a week of freezing temps

From what I can see the rear was really the only thing that wasn’t properly coated from the factory. Which is a nice change from gm where I had to scrape all that bs wax off the frame and paint everything

Lots of stuff happened this weekend.

Had my roof vinyl wrapped in gloss black and I tinted my 3rd brake light dark so it blends into the roof.
Sprayed everything under the truck with NHOU black, in every hole, nook and cranny.
Gave the truck its winter paste wax, Collinite 476 double coat.
And I put my Pro X15 tonneau cover on.

It is officially ready for winter.

Thanks.

I came from the import tuner crowd, its just a thing they do. It tricks the eye and makes thinks look lower then they really are.
And it gives a nice look with dark rear window, black bed cover and dark brow tint.

I don’t know why but I like the black roof as well. I want to do it to my truck but they quoted me 500 dollars for it.

When you tinted the 3rd brake light did you just use use a fitted piece of tint that you cut yourself? I was looking at a piece off eBay because I wanted to do that it's like $13 does that sound about right

I had it done for 250 out the door. It was a guy that works at a custom shop that does work on the side.

I used Luxe film for my taillights, mirrors, and 3rd brake light. Pretty easy to install once you get the hang of it and it's not permanent if you don't like it.
