No pictures but I met another built to serve owner who was selling his wheels. Bought two. So now I have one for a matching spare once I get new tires and I have a replacement for one of my wheels that unfortunately got some curb rash. Don't remember it happening or if it was even me (could've been the wife) but hey - first time owning a full size truck! Live and learn.

Not really what I did too my 5th gen but what I did for my 5th gen…

I’m about to release my 100th video on my channel and decided for number 100, I’m going to dyno my truck so I schedule my dyno time this morning!!! Planning to do a little competition too for the video.

Super pumped because I’ve never dyno anything before. This will give me a benchmark for future performance upgrade (post-warranty)!

While I catch a lot of heat for spending so much on my truck, relieving back sweat was a very high priority after 20 years with cloth seats in my Dodge Dakota. As soon as I heard ventilated seats were a thing, I wanted that solution. Then of course that also means you have to upgrade to leather. I needed a big enough back seat for my teen kids, a 6'4" (or whatever, no shorty beds) to haul my motorcycles, 4x4 for our winters, and the ventilated seats. So right away I was already into a pimped out Laramie. All mid-size pickups (Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado) had short beds with their crew cabs. Had to go full size. Had to go trim up to get ventilated leather seats.

Well, now that I have the extra ventilation, I can drive in comfort all summer long. I'm very happy. Sure, I'd've preferred to pay $40K instead of $60K, but...the market is what it is.

Now I just have to worry about whether or not the upcoming electric trucks will lead to low demand and depreciated value for our gas guzzlers. A friend charges his Tesla to 250 mile range overnight, for a cool 25 cents! Sheesh. Filling up my Ram costs $85 (33 gal tank).

Enjoy your seat covers! I hope you're very comfortable now!
I’m jealous it costs me $115 to fill up my 26 gallon tank! Haha

I like the look of this but how well does it deflect wind and protect hood and windshield from rock chips? With it being so low profile I’d imagine it doesn’t do as well of a job as say a regular one or wt. I could be wrong
The stick-on low profile one protects the hoods leading edge.

The regular air foil raised one does somewhat re-direct bugs a bit, but in no way does it completely stop bugs from hitting your windshield and definitely doesn’t protect it from rocks.
I had one of raised profile ones and the rubber bumpers it rests on chaffed paint on the hood. I wouldn’t have another one.

Thank you. Any trimming involved?

no trimming at all. ORP truck.

295/60/20 tire, 3” level (with upper control arms for ball joints). rear has timbergrove bags that provide anywhere from 0.5” - 5” of lift. i can go full lock either direction with no rubbing.

Dang those airbags offer that much height adjustment?! That is awesome! What height do you run for daily driving comfort?

It was kind of a PIA for me. :ROFLMAO:
Oh thank goodness it wasn't just me... LOL! Yes, it was a PIA... three bolts and a wiring harness should NOT be that difficult! 😄

(When I was on a Jeep forum and I did my own work on my Wrangler I posted a couple of times about mods I had problems with, and got dragged guys who said the mods were simple - with the subtext that I didn't know what I was doing because I was a girl. It made me a little gunshy about posting... But dammit, I'm proud to be working on my own truck!! 🙂 )
