What did you do to your Ram today???

Not to be that guy but there's no way that's true unless he's got a solar system that he's ignoring the equipment cost of. 25 cents of electricity would get you a handful of miles. An overnight charge for my neighbor costs about $10. A helluva improvement, yes. But not $0.25 lol.
The Tesla tells you how long it charges, and the electric company offers a very low overnight rate of $0.01/kWh (Georgia Power Company) between 11pm-7am. He has the Tesla Y, with a 60 kWh battery. At $0.01/kWh, it should cost no more than $0.60 to charge from zero. I asked him to verify his math, because $0.25 would be less than 100 miles, with its energy economy listed as 28 kWh per 100 miles. He must've been referring to a top up, rather than full charge from drained. The equipment cost was simply some wires and the plug, which he installed himself and it wasn't expensive, $500. Besides that, GPC offers a $250 rebate on the Level 2 Charger so he recovered half. $10 for your neighbor?! Whoo wee!

Washed and cleaned the truck. Got 20% tint done all around on Saturday including a 60% windshield and 20% sunroof. Amazing is all I can say.

I guess that makes sense with the overnight rates, didn't think about that. We don't have that option around here.

It appears to be a Husky model 97004.

I don't have this cover, but I looked into it: Husky only has one version for the 1500 DT. If you order from Covercraft, they have three versions, for different types of sensors in front of the rear view mirror. You can also get them in a silver or blue tint.

On the other hand, the Covercraft is $10 higher than the Husky.

Installed carlinkit wireless carplay. Been working well so far. Had an issue, that when I browsed email on my phone while connected. Apple carplay went offline.

I bought this as well. Worked well for just Apple car play, but when I tried to answer calls it would either freeze or be very choppy. Let me know if you have any issues. :)

I made a few calls with no issue. Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the carlinkit. I checked before installing.

I checked as well. Might have to look to see if any upgrades are available again. If not, I still like using it, it's nice to just walk-in and boom it's displayed on the screen.

Yea, just a bunch of jabs back and forth on the deflectors. I had to pile on. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Heck some guys even like Chevys. What can you do?

Blue, I thought I remembered you posting this before. I really like it as it is different. I couldn't remember it and was going to pm you asking about it. I'm off to bookmark that site because I can see one in my future. Thanks!
HEY! My first truck was a Chevy.

Lets just say I got a lot of mechanical experience replacing parts with that bucket of bolts 😉

It looks great and it does serve a purpose, I have the Mopar air deflector on mine and it has cut down on the amount of bugs I have to clean off my windshield. After 25k miles (mostly highway) I don't have a single chip or scratch on my hood.

I installed my tonneau cover and rail system. It's the truck hero elevate rail system with an undercover armor flex cover. I had backflips ony past 2 trucks and wanted to try something different. So far the build quality of the under cover seems to be a little bit better than my MX4.

I scheduled my ceramic tint installation today, does that count as doing something to my Ram today? Haha.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

My truck is getting coated today. I get it back from PPF and coating on Wednesday. I can’t wait!

Nice! I'm getting antsy for my coating... I'm spending way too much time researching different products, now going down a rabbit hole of whether it's going to be too humid in my garage when I want to apply it, and whether or not I have to do something about that. Hopefully before the end of August, I'll actually have it put on, not be complaining about making a mess of it, and stop over thinking it. Having a job that requires me to design processes for everything and imagine every risk really does have it's downfalls...

Finally installed my MOPAR window rain guards in between all the freakin rain in the North East.
The clips on the rear windows are a PITA. I like the OEM low profile and the folding mirrors don't even come close to hitting them.
Hopefully they cut down some air noise at highway speeds.
