Thoughts please...2019 leftover ram big horn nicely equipped
Msrp 54804 out the door 43900
What do you mean by "out the door"? This thread is always clarifying price. To me, I have always considered out the door to include EVERYTHING, so including taxes, tags, and even finance rate which affects the total amount you'd pay if you stick with the full 4, 5 or 6 years of payments.
For the sake of equal comparisons, and judgement of what is a fair deal, this thread only considers dealer discount, incentives/rebates, and dealer fees. Taxes, plates, and loan interest rates vary by state and lender so they are excluded.
If your out the door is truly out the door, meaning it also includes taxes and plates, then it is much better than if you now have to apply your state's sales tax to that $43,900.
A 2019 with 10 miles on it is depreciated further than a 2020 or a 2021 with 10 miles. It is not your fault the dealer couldn't sell that truck since, potentially, September 2018. If I were going to buy a new 2019, I wouldn't settle for anything less than 25% off MSRP. Chances are with some homework that you may find a leftover 2020, or for $1000-$1500 more, a 2021. But as Snofire said above, if you personally think it's a good deal, then it is.
