1 - FIX THE DAMN APP and make it FREE!!!!
2 - more payload.. atleast 300lbs more
3 - More powerful / more fuel efficient gas engine choice. Prefer a V8, but not 100% against a TT6'er if done right
4 - give us something between the 3.92's and the 3.23's with a 10k towing capacity
5 - better Navigation / Infotainment software..
6 - let the Longhorn be able to have the 'sport' hood!!! 🙃

****have to add get rid of the knob shifter and bring back the console shifter
The 2022 is rumored to be doing away with the V8 and go with the TT V6. I was actually waiting for the new Tundra until I heard they were dropping the V8. Not trying to get off the subject of this thread, but what's the appeal of the TT V6 other that fuel economy?

1. A little indicator on the cluster, maybe as part of the trans temp gauge display, that tells you when your torque converter is locked up. For those that tow.
2. A "maneuvering" mode for the 360* display that keeps the display on while you shift from reverse to drive and back again, so you can keep an eye on your position relative to reference points on the ground while positioning the truck.
3. Those two thumbwheels that control lighting: Make left one for instrument cluster, active all the time. Make right one for the center display, active all the time. Quit forcing us to be distracted from the task of safely operating a motor vehicle merely to adjust brightness of a display with menu options.

Steve
The converter lock up idea - I like it!

Would love to see them really use the power/flexibility of the uconnect. a bunch of this is just software change that would not have to wait for next Gen.

let us have some control of software, all of the electronics are there, just let us use them
1. heated/vent seats, configure what temp they "auto" turn on, what level (high med or low) and have passenger controls independent of drivers (ie at 38F have passenger turn on medium, drivers low, but at 25F have Pass high and drivers med)
2. heated steering, user selectable and have levels, ideally be able to have on high if I remote start but one I hit get in go down to low.
3. folding mirrors
4. soft buttons give us a few buttons that we can drag to home screen and do what we like, kind of a make your own shortcut idea
5. would like to see android/apple like volume control, where I can see what all input levels are so USB, android auto, fm, nav, etc all on one screen so that we have the choice of balancing out levels
6. if they did an open app development option, I bet before too long we could have things like "if outside temp is >100, dark outside, and auto-highbeams have not been triggered in 30 minutes=play "The Eagles", open the sunroof, roll down the windows, make the HUD "a shimmering light"
7. a few user defined key fob controls, Mirror fold, windows, all lights on without horn, or build this into the "free app" hell even if app was 5or 10 bucks, as long as there is some functionality, I would buy, but I will not pay $$/month for just remote start and map forwarding

for next gen
1. soft-button relay control for upfitter switchs with user selectable naming, give us half a dozen or so relays (or at least control outputs) that are uconn controlled with ability to assign names and function (normally on, off, with acc, with headlight or drl, etc)
2. factory lift options (more that the 1")
3. make some things that fit the factory bed rails, ie, toolboxes, Molle plates, cargo bar, tool storage hooks, swing out boxes, ladder racks etc.
4. wish they would come up with a hard tonneau with soft sides, think pop-up camper. flush with bed when down even with cab when up

plus all the normal things, more; power, milage, tire clearance, payload, towing cap, stereo sound, and TRX capability for 20k.....lol.....

oh, and if we dream, ejector seat, afterburner, and in dash coffee machine

For the Big Horn/Lone Star trim level: Optional power passenger seat for the vertically challenged wife, girlfriend or both. If for both, please make it a memory seat that can be controlled also from the drivers side!

Europeans love their paddle shifters, but paddle shifters in a truck? After selling my 2014 Grand Cherokee with standard paddle shifters I swore never to buy another vehicle with them.

A smaller displacement with the same power would be lighter and more fuel efficient. I’d actually prefer a straight six, but who’s counting. I would be surprised if we get such a new engine option before 2024 (other than a new plugin hybrid add on).

Sorry I was referring to the 2022 Tundra being rumored of dropping the V8.

All I can say is I hope peeps realize that these wish lists will also over-complicate and increase the $ of the truck even more. As long as I'm not paying, maybe a 7/100K b to b warranty needs to be included and 0.0 APR for 96 months...

And what about matching the new F150 hybrid in-bed 7.2 kw generator? If we are "shooting for the moon", might as well. Oh and the included in-cab power inverters need to be 1,000 watt PSW not MSW (pure sine not modified sine wave). Might need two batteries under the hood, both AGM's., to properly power them

In 2023 we can get lithium marine (dual starting and some deep draw) 12v batteries, if they can solve the cold weather charging problem when the battery temps are well below freezing. Course' they need to make sure the (really cold weather) air suspension issues are all resolved too, if not already done. Oh and selectable air locking diffs front and rear, like the ARB ones.
Edit - And an optional Whipple too.
Gonna' need like 90K for all that in a Limited.

Havent really read or seen that in the automotive news. Maybe if/when GM drops their V8’s, since those weenies are going “all electric” in the near future.

I lost count on what number the list is on...

- Fix the Instrument Cluster non-dimming issue
- Make bigger gas tanks standard for 6ft+ beds
- Tighten the turn radius on these trucks
- How about more interior colors?
- Front camera and parking sensors as stand- alone options
- On chrome mirrors, don't put chrome on the exterior wall that faces the cab. Headlights from oncoming traffic reflect into the cabin at certain angles.
- Higher quality key fobs... mine are already losing paint
- Higher quality plastic on the tailgate cap.
- HEPA cabin filters
- Fix the A/C issue
- Increase the interior fan strength

**1 more for the list: A way to turn off the auto-braking when reversing, useless "safety" feature!!

You can turn that off in the Uconnect.

One for the list, make the 6'4" bed 6'6" like GM....I could fit an 8' length of lumber in my 04 Silverado flat on the bed floor diagonally with the tailgate shut, but it is just shy (2") of fitting in the Ram.

There was a patent application a few years ago for a turbo straight 6. I wouldn't be surprised if such an engine initially supplants or replaces the Hemi.

Meh. My next vehicle after this truck is going to be electric. I expect that the infrastructure & technology will be there in ~10 years to support the range I need.
I‘d take a Tesla for free, they have great performance however I just can’t see an entire make dropping the internal combustion engine though when looking at the coming “tidal wave” of environmental/anti oil regulations and decrees, it’s bound to happen.

Better enjoy your TRX’s and Chargers before AOC gets ahold of the Dept of Energy or Transportation...🙄🚙🚚
