Yes I word it wrong. I’ll try and see what happens . Any pointers ?
If you are absolutely ready to buy at this very moment, walk in and ask to see the General Sales Manager. Sit down with him/her and tell them this is the truck you want...you'll drive it off the lot right now, but this is where you need to be. Go for at least 18% off MSRP and see if you can land at a happy place. I buy new cars/trucks every 1.5 - 2 years...I am on #38 now that I bought my new 2021. I understand very well the game and how to play it. Don't deal with a peon salesperson...go straight to the top...it will save you a TON of time! With it being end of year, you have a far better chance to get what you want as they don't want to carry the truck into 2021.

2021 Limited, Night package, eTorque V8, dual sunroof, limited level 1 package, tow group, ram boxes, multi function tailgate, 3.92s, 33 gal tank, ivory white, etc, etc. MSRP with destination fee was $75,200.

Invoice was $68,750. Selling price was $64, 250, no haggling required. Included employee pricing plus $500, First responder, returning customer, and military.

Was end of the month, end of the year, right before Xmas. Jones Junction of Bel Air, MD.
Good price! Did you get 0% APR as well? If so, that will be a really good deal :)

I am located in Pennsylvania. I would estimate the bottom line costs minus TTT is about $56k.
Make a trip to Bel Air, MD. Jones junction. You pay taxes based on where you register, not where you buy.

Nah, got 2.4%. Was one or the other. The rebate or 0%. I pay off sooner, so went with the rebate instead.

Read my post above. Right now, with Employee Pricing, you can build almost any RAM 1500 you want and end up with a built sheet with a great price. But unless you can somehow find your specific build existing on a dealer's lot somewhere (highly unlikely) or compromise heavily on a build the dealer selected, you are most likely not going to be able to get the price shown on the RAM website at your local dealer unless you're lucky enough to live near a high-volume dealer.

So, don't get too excited by the RAM website if you plan to build out and order your truck. It will not qualify for EP.
Hmm, the employee pricing for all does not apply to factory order?

Just sent an email on a specific Rebel at Lank Land as ive read here people are getting some good pricing.
MSRP is $56,795 with destination charge.
I sent offer at $43,495 Before taxes and fees. Is this reasonable to get to with Lake Land?

Lakeland in Florida?
Eh, honestly you could probably get it for $46K before taxes/fees

If it's Lakeland in FL, send me a PM - I'll give you the sales manager email you can contact him directly.

I just picked up my 2021 Limited yesterday. MSRP $62,635. I got $10,300 off. I live in PA also, but bought this across the line in NY. Happy with the deal, especially since the Limited wasn't loaded with options.
What dealer you end up going through?

Royal Chrysler in Owego, NY, but I dealt with 3 dealers in Eastern Pa who were comparable with the employee pricing. Royal happened to have the one I wanted on the lot, and gave me a good trade in. Smaller dealership, but great customer service which impressed me.

I happened to get employee price with my special order, only because my truck happened to land during the employee pricing event.

what you can negotiate when placing a special order is the dealer discount. these are dealer-based, and honored as part of the agreement between you and the dealer.

what you can't negotiate are rebates and other incentives. those come from the corporate level, not the dealer, and are based on region, time of year and other factors like your own personal background (military, first responder, etc).

Ask the sales manager.

Last year during the employee event they factory ordered our 2020 Laramie and honored the employee pricing. Order date was 12.20.19, build date was 1.27.20 and took delivery the day it arrived at the dealership on 2.20.20.

The February incentives were real good last year, ended up with a great deal, sure you can do the same with a dealer that wants a sale though not sure how the incentives will be on delivery next year.

I was told that the RAM rules for Employee Pricing explicitly state you must take delivery by a certain date. For the December EP event, that date was 1/4/21. It takes 2-3 months right now to have an order built.

However, some high volume dealers can still give great deals on pre-orders.

Starting conversations on 2021 Big Horn Night. 53.3k MSRP.

The dealer has it at 45.5k but I also have the 1.5k email rebate. Thinking there is a bit more in the deal as well, either in price of add ons - wheel liners, running boards and rubber mats to sweeten the deal.

What are people seeing for off MSRP on Big Horns as the year closes, before the limited rebates not everybody gets (military, etc). Crossing my finger I can get to 20-22% off. Seem reasonable? Too much? Not enough? Appreciate the thoughts.
