Technically, this wasn’t today, but since Monday - 2328 of this miles! 190 to go, but presently parked on I40 waiting for the Arizona highway patrol to clear an accident several miles up the road. Truck has been flawless and very thirsty.

Not really today but in the last couple weeks:
1. Gyeon leathershield on the seats: Bought on Amazon. Its a little pricey. I bought two bottles although one bottle was enough for a single coat on just the seats. Application was not that difficult. There was some trial and error. The instructions recommend to apply liberally and no need to buff. Well the first seat I did just that and there were visible high spots that were not apparent during application. The remaining seats i did a little buffing after the coating dried for a few minutes and they cured to a nice smooth completely transparent finish. Performance of the coating remains to be seen but I read a lot of good reviews.
2. Black plastidip the skid plate: Really like the look, will eventually put a more permanent coating on the plate this was sort of a test. Used the hyperdip shadowblack from dyc. Would recommend over old school plastidip the finish smoother and deeper and the coating feels more durable.
3. Red hound door sill guards: I wear work boots throughout the week and I noticed some light scratches on my drivers door sill. Needed to get some protection. I really like the texture of the red hounds and the grip factor. Install wasnt bad just required a little patience, a clean surface and a little bit of pre-planning to get them in the perfect position.
4. Black on black matte american flag vinyl on grill emblem: I love the low key look of this. I think the emblem also looks nice with a bit of contrast as opposed to solid black or solid grey. Product was good quality only complaint was I was shipped the red white and blue vinyl the first time but the seller admitted his mistake and made it right so can't ask for much more
5. Purchased avalon king cermaic coating for the paint, haven't had a chance to orep and apply yet

Did you do your own drilling and use your own screws for the base?

I drilled and tapped a bunch of 1/4-20 holes in the aluminum plate for the Ram-mount bases, also drilled out the bases to take 1/4 twenties. I did utilize the existing screw holes in the dash, just had to use longer screws to mount the plate.

What are you using for your ram mounts in the upper coin tray? I bought a ram mount that I was going to try and modify to fit in there. Yours looks like it would be a lot easier to use.
I fabricated a piece of 1/4 inch thick 6061-T6 aluminum that was shaped to fit the tray, mounted it to original screw holes in the dash with longer screws.

Swapped out my OZ light bar with a Zroadz bar. Even pulled out my light meter for this video! The Zroadz bar generates 3,700 lumens more than my OZ bar.

Put my Gator tonneau cover on yesterday! Love it so far.

When you put your Gator on, how did you approach shims and spacers? The Spacing and Shimming Sheet in my instruction manual only goes up to 2016. I'm inclined to use the 2016 info but I don't want to get it together and find out I should have done something else

what base plate is that? Is that a Bulletproof mount? I can't find anything similar on RAM's website...how does it mount, did you have to drill any holes?
Looks like kapinallinen2's is not a Bulletproof. I went with a Bulletproof, and the mounting plate uses the two screw holes already located under the liner in the coin tray.

Filmed my first side by side product comparison. Let me know your thoughts on this concept! It was a fun one, really considering picking up another set of LED pods and comparing those too.

Installed my new Gator FX tonneau. I like it! Install itself was fairly straightforward, except that my Cargo Management divider rails interfered with with the prop rod hinges on the cover. I initially just removed the divider and figured I would put it up for sale. After I got the cover on though, my wheels started turning and I made a slight modification to the divider rails. Now everything fits and works well!

Care to share the rail fix?

You got them - sweet! Another thread is talking about flex, but if mine do I don’t notice even a little
Yes I did and so far I'm loving them. And the bonus is my wife likes them too. I saw your post driving through Arizona and I think I heard you honk and wave as you went past.

Sorry, just saw this! I bought mine from Real Truck. Now I don't know if this is common, but the spacer shims on the rails were already in place. So when I put the rails on they fit perfectly. They included a bunch of shims too. I saw you already put yours in (looks great by the way!) but in case anyone else had this question. So I'm not in a place to answer it, since mine was already shimmed for whatever reason.

I finally got a reply back from Realtruck (after I installed mine), as that is where I bought mine also. They said from 2017 on, the shims are preinstalled in most cases
