What did you do to your Ram today???

Not sure to be honest. Really makes one question some of the improvements. the fourth gen loaner feels light and spry, my limited with air ride feels firmly planted by like a 60s impala, buick etc.

Hopefully someine can chime in and acknowledge some similar downfalls of the fifth gen?
If you are comparing a bare bones classic to a limited I am sure your limited does way a good bit more than it. Options add weight.

Installed the led tailgate brake light. It is a little tricky with the multifunction tailgate.

Used yellow Lamin-X on the fogs. Super effective at night without weather but will see how they do in the snow soon I guess. Wish they were a little darker but easy quick fix to yellow them out and for $14!

Finally got my bed lights installed and wired. They sat in my garage for months.
NIce, what did you use? I have a bed cover coming and see lights for the front of the bed in my future

I followed RamVader's install instructions here to install my Opt 7. My only deviation was that I removed the tailgate because I just do not have the patience to work in the tiny space between the bumper and tailgate, so I opened up my area of operation to where I could get my hands in there to operate.

I had originally planned on just using an LED strip that I'd need to cut and wire myself, along with an extra switch I had. It looked like it was going to be a huge hassle and well worth the extra $15 or so for the price of this kit. Ran the wires through holes at the top of each bed rail, stuck the switch on with some spare 3M tape (they don't provide any), and wired it to the constant 12V going to the trailer harness. The hardest part was attaching the extra leads for the switch because I didn't do that before running the wires to the bottom of the truck. If I had done it beforehand the whole install would have taken maybe 30 minutes including dropping the spare tire to have some room under the bed.
