Put me in the same camp of people saying they can’t even feel when ECO turns on/off. My truck is so smooth in between, I turned the ECO light on just to give me awareness whether the feature was working or not. Without a doubt, this is the smoothest drivetrain on a vehicle I’ve owned. For reference, I’m also in a standard Hemi with 3.21 gears.
Now that I read this thread and have been looking for this “bump” some of you guys speak of, I noticed if I apply pressure to the gas pedal right before I anticipate ECO turning off, I can feel the bump. I basically have to completely change my driving style to make it happen, and I only encounter it when I’m unnecessarily (JMO) mashing the throttle. Sure there are instances where fast acceleration are necessary, but in my driving conditions, that’s not typically when ECO is engaging.
I totally “get it”... we all drive differently, in different conditions, and some with aftermarket exhaust systems. For me, MDS is a welcome addition... for some of you, it keeps you up at night. Hopefully the aforementioned 3rd party device helps you to rest easy.
