Personally, I hid my pedal commander under the dash and use the app on my phone. I used the app a few times getting it set to what I want, and I haven't changed it since. If my wife drives (rarely) I turn it down because she peels out of the driveway.

There's also the iDrive. Not sure if anyone else is running one of those, but I have one in my Ram and one in my Jeep. Although I have not compared the iDrive to other devices, I'm happy with it. It has several modes including stock, automatic (which responds based on how you drive), eco mode, and "ultimate" mode which is a performance mode. Functionality is very similar to other units. Both eco mode and ultimate mode have 10 levels. I really like the ability to fine tune throttle response for various scenarios. I tend to use Ultimate level 2-3 for usual driving, Ultimate level 6-7 for spirited driving, Eco levels 3-5 for towing or hauling, Eco level 2-3 for offroading, and Eco 3-4 for highway driving. I like the appearance, too - it is small and clean.

Just wanted to throw the iDrive into the mix to further complicate the decision! ;)

Hehe I appreciate the additional complications. I was looking at the iDrive but decided to dismiss it because that was the other one I was thinking about that's made in China. I'm waiting for LaunchPad to email me back as well as a couple others. I know I don't want any Chinese crap lol. So I narrowed my list to...

Banks Pedal Monster (OBD port option)
Sprint Booster,
DigiPower,
JMS.
Tough decision...as all of these except the Sprint Booster are made in USA.

Oh...here's something different...
The JMS actually has a knob you turn to increase sensitivity, instead of a digital display and buttons. I kind of like that concept.

Probably doesn't make a difference to you, but I believe the company was started in Australia. But, yes, the product is manufactured in China. Kinda like Apple is based in California, but iPhones are made in China.

That's too bad....I've seen some great products that have been made in Australia. Hell...even their firearms are great. Lol. Unfortunately I've learned the hard way to not trust Chinese made electrical auto parts :(

Yes, you are correct, Sprint Booster and the like do not increase power. They simply speed up the response of the throttle body to input and corrections made by the driver to the gas pedal. Simply put, they remove the lag between mashing the peddle and the throttle body response. Although I hate MDS vehemently, I do try to save fuel by keeping my RAM in MDS mode as much as possible. I put the Sprint Booster on 48 hours after I got my Ram home, so I do not know if there is an increase in fuel milage or not, but I suspect there is a loss simply due to the fun of driving a more responsive Ram. I also have the RamAir installed, and judging from my Fuelly records and others in this forum with an average of about 16 mpg, I think my HEMI is doing pretty well. Lately I have even gotten better milage with 17.8 just by driving a little easier and keeping MDS on as much as possible despite the drone it causes in my Carven exhaust. I guess I have gotten used to the drone.
Off topic I know, but how do you like the Mopar Ram Air? Equipping my truck with this is one of the few things left to do with the truck before I'd consider myself being done throwing money at it. Hahaha

My personal opinion is the RamAir looks cool when I open the hood (which is not often). I also think it is very expensive for an air intake. Further, I have no idea if it adds any throttle response or horsepower. There are a number of threads in here in which many folks have voiced their strong opinions, technical data, analyses, and comparisons between cold air intakes and forced air intakes (which is what I believe the RamAir is rather than actually a CAI). To answer your question without verbosity, I like it because it is what it is and not for what I think it does for my Ram or for better fuel milage. That is probably not the answer you were looking for, but if you want to see some very heated discussions with opinions on performance, etc., search for RamAir Cold Air Intake and you will find a plethora of folks' thoughts on this particular subject.

Shortest possible answer... I like it. :D

I have heard from a lot of people that the Ram air does help throttle response but I could never justify paying the price. For that price I could get a throttle controller, S&B intake and maybe even a nice Magnaflow muffler replacement lol.

I like Banks products, but they mostly support diesel power. I'll have to take a look at that video when I get home. I can't watch them from work. I still need to buy a pedal controller for our Limited.

Yes they seem very popular with Diesel owners. I like the idea of the Pedal Monster because it is the only throttle Control that uses power from the OBD port AND has the most safety features out of all of them.

So...am I the only one that found this email condescending? I sent iDrive a message tw days ago asking where they Manufacture the throttle controllers....this was their response....I know for a fact that there's 3 or 4 companies that manufacture controllers here in the USA... I don't find it condescending, I'd say based on how it's written maybe they're just not very good at writing.

Yea maybe not, but to claim that every other product made is Chinese makes me think he was hoping I didn't know $hit. Lol.

I too do not find it condiscening. A tad bit defensive, sure, but not throwing anything back at you for your query that I read into it. Tone and tenor are hard to discern from text.

That's very true...but claiming all products are made in China is a bit short sighted...maybe just bad English on his part lol.

Also had a chat with LaunchPad (another throttle Controller company)
Seems like a decent product but their rep was having trouble answering my questions, and some of their answers didn't support any text on their website, so felt more like sales pitching over honesty.
