Seeing these numbers. I am almost considering dumbing down to a loaded bighorn and saving 12g on the leather.....the affiliate discount is ok but not where I hoped to be. Seeing you guys with under 55k is making me think twice, do I need the laramie if I get a loaded bighorn? Resale will probably be about the same anyway. I would consider rebel but I really did not like how it felt so airy.on the bumps compared to the laramie. I dont like the air suspension.. i might have to test drive a bighorn and see if i se a big difference in the drive to negate the cost difference. What am missing some trim and fender flares and heated back seats?

Big Horn is a good choice unless you must have leather, memory seats, or a package only available on Laramie, or proximity key for entry. I would have ended up with a Big Horn except I really wanted adaptive cruise control.

You can't get proximity entry on a BigHorn and it's a package on the Rebel if that's something that matters to you.

There is some great info and adding passive entry to a big horn on other threads. Total cost appears to be under $500. I'm strongly considering it.

That is, if your into DIY stuff.

That is a solid offer, especially since you are receiving the desired amount for your trade. The dealer I purchased my truck from is currently offering $6500 + rebates and they are known to be one of the most aggressive discounters in CA.

I got an unexpected call the other day from a different dealer. This one is only 45 min away. They offered me an additional $1500 on my trade that they hadn't prior. This is $800 more than a previous dealer I was about to make a deal with that is 185 miles away. Discount on the truck is similar (within 0.4% accounting for doc fee). This dealer group has 3 RAM dealers, but not one truck that fits my criteria. But they found one and the dealer will trade.

Delmonico red Laramie, Level 1 equipment group, no eTorque, bucket seats, 20s with white letter tires, anti-spin differential, wheel well liners. It is a June build it looks like based on the date code on the window sticker, which isn't as recent as I'd like but not ancient either:
MSRP $55350
Dealer Discount: $6642 (12%)
Doc fee: $399
Rebates: $5500 ($3000 standard rebates, $500 Chrysler Capital, $1000 conquest, $1000 Penfed). I can't believe FCA doesn't have an educator or education discount. I have a $500 TrueCar certificate but can't use it and Penfed. If my trade was a GM it would be another $1000 off, but it is Ford.
Sales price before TTL: $43,607 incl doc fee (about 22% discount, 21.3% if you include doc fee)

My trade is a 2018 Ford F-150 XLT 302A package with some extras.

This is about a $69.25 difference all-in (not including tax) for a truck with a MSRP of $850 more. This truck has anti-spin and the wheel well liners, but not the all weather floor mats.

There is also another truck about the same distance away that is basically the same truck, but has etorque. Not sure if I want the etorque or not? Or anti-spin or not?

Thoughts on the deal or if I should see if they can contact the dealer with the etorque ones (with or without anti-spin)?

The dealer didn’t do anything more than ask me for a favor to not do it otherwise they will get the “chargeback”. I found out during the signing process that the finance lady just moved to my neighborhood so agreed as a gesture of good will plus the dealership was very professional, no games, and truly one of the better experiences i have had in my car buying history (i tend to keep cars about 12 months and trade them in).

I was more than happy to accommodate given the way they treated me from the moment i stepped into the dealer. FrIsco is known for having a lot of money (I am not one of those people) but it was apparent the customer is the main priority which in my opinion stems from the ownership down to the leadership.
Thats awesome I've never had that experience

I would have ended up with a Laramie except I wanted cloth, bench seat! Restrictions, restrictions, restrictions? But I did get level 2 package, have acquired the Laramie premium wheels, can install the passive entry if I get ambitious and still not sure about the benefit or look of fender flares.

There’s a little trick to see HUD projection with polarized glasses. Just tilt your head to left or right and you will see it better.

Your trick worked. :) Tilting my head back while wearing the polarized sunglasses made the HUD more visible. However, I decided to go with my third pair of Oakley sunglasses because not only did they provide good visibility of the HUD, even at 50% brightness, they were the only ones that fit in the sunglass holder, and even then they still require a little finessing to get them in there. Apparently the Ram engineers wear Morpheus-style sunglasses. :ROFLMAO:

Currently in talks with a dealer over a level 1 laramie 2021. His initial numbers are in black, my offered numbers are in red. Anyone think I can get them to agree to this? I definitely want the trade in bumped to 41k but the 51k selling price seems like a stretch.

Don't bother listing individual pricing.
Just tell them what you want your Balance Due price to be.
If they accept the deal, they will adjust the numbers how they feel it fits.
By giving individual numbers you now provided them a number ways to argue over each one.

Don't have a phone number but go to the bottom of the page under "Cost". Incentives are listed.
I took a look, anyone know if the $500 true car and the$1,000 bonus cash I received in my email can be added to the current rebates?

There are model restrictions. The $1000 rebate cannot be applied on my Laramie.

Pretty good on the rebates. There may be a little meat left on the bone with the dealer discount, but I think the theme in this thread is dealers in the northeast won’t discount as much. They’re probably offering at or close to invoice. How badly do you want this specific truck? Just my opinion, but I doubt they’ll get to the 10% dealer discount others have mentioned in this market. Another 500-1k may be possible. You could also build one online, get a quote from Craig, and use it as leverage. Good luck.
Yeah that seems to be the deal, not much negotiating up here last time I spoke to someone I asked if they’d be willing to throw something in with the deal like the rear wheel liners and they just said “No” but this truck has most of everything I want minus the alpine 9 speaker system and the tan/black interior(although I don’t think you can get that.. on the configurator as soon as you choose an interior color other than black it takes the sport or North Edition packages off) It’s the color I want which not many dealers have. thought about putting an order in at my local dealership but it’s a gamble as to what rebates I’d get when it shows up

I have been looking at a Bighorn MSRP $51,700, I was hoping to get down to $40,000 before TTL. I’m located in the northeast. Does that seem feasible? Using the TrueCar rebate and the $1,000 bonus cash on top of the regular rebates

I am in Mass(Central), and just bought a Quad Cab MSRP 52850. I got the standard 5K Rebates, and $3850 off from dealer. I thought I would have qualified for an additional $2K rebate for owning a GM Vehicle, but that is only on Crew Cabs, not Quads. I also noticed location location location! If I had gone to Western Mass (Pittsfield) they fall under a different district, and I would have qualified for an additional $1750 rebate (NECLY) for Quad Cabs. That mainly affects the NY/NJ areas.

Good Luck.

I just ordered a well optioned '21 Longhorn. I emailed about 20 dealers within ~300 miles of me. Best price was about $1,800 under invoice according to NADA. Plus any rebates/discounts available when it's delivered. Not bad for exactly the options and colors I want on a brand new model year. Now the interminable waiting begins...

To continue my negotiations I have a dealer at $40,500 for my truck trade-in and $53,840 for the new one before TTL and rebates/incentives. Truck MSRP is $60,680. So roughly 12% off before rebates or incentives. What are your guys' thoughts on this deal?

I'm not an expert but I think getting them to EP pricing is a good deal and you are close on that deal. I'd say take it.
