Hey everyone! Just thought I’d throw this out there for anyone who needs help picking out an exhaust for their truck. If you want something to wake it up a little bit, but not be too over the top then this exhaust is for you.

Flowmaster Super 10 video

I’ve got some comparisons between stock and with it, some clips of the interior with and without the windows open, close up clips, and even some parts where I mark the sound difference when MDS is active.
Enjoy!

What a great video thanks for doing all of the different variables and sharing this with us! I actually ordered this muffler today and having it installed on Friday so I'm glad I found this in the search. Doesn't seem like there is any drone while cruising and sounds great when you open it up!

Just got it on today love it so far. I left the resonators on for now. I did notice that when I went to pull it in the driveway after it sat for a bit my RPMS were surging between 1000-1500 which was very weird and out of the ordinary. Anyone experience this?

Glad you guys enjoyed the video and thanks for the support! Planning on cutting off the first resonator, I’ll share a link once I do it and make a new video for it!

That sounds perfect! Do you have a part number so I can make sure I order the right part?

I've also the Super 10's. Started with the resonators on and weep holes plugged, then went back and cut off the resonators a week later. Sounds way better without the resonators

My truck has the weep holes welded shut at the moment. Going to give removing just that first resonator a shot, and see how much it changes it. Will most likely make a video of that one as well. I like it now, but I’d like a little bit more rasp at higher RPM.

Quick side note - a friend nearby installed a CORSA exhaust on his a few weeks ago. Made a video of that one too for anyone who’s curious :D Definitely a completely different tone than the Flowmaster.

If anyone on here is in the MA area and wants to record a video, let me know!

Wish I did a bit more research about the weep holes in the resonators. I just got a muffler delete (almost went Super 10) yesterday and I didn't notice the leaking sound until I remote started my truck. Can't hear it from the inside obviously and when its warmed up it seems to go away but I definitely should call up my shop and ask them to weld em shut. Unlike a lot of people I don't mind it being "quiet".

Any increase in drone with the resonators off?

Can you tell me if you used a Flowmaster 2.5 or 3 inch? I have listened to video's and there does seem to be a difference.

You can use the J-B Weld HighHeat Epoxy to fill the weep holes.

Thanks for the video. I have a quote for $400 cad for a Flowmaster 10 installed and welded. Is that crazy high?
