What about the Sumitomo HTR Enhanced CX2? It seems to rate better than the Forterra (the Forterra is slightly better on wet/dry traction

Seems to have a decent rating but I didn't want to try an unknown tire to me. Like I said, I like Goodyear plus they are out of Akron Ohio

nothing to add...just following. Looking to change out the tires on my 2020 Limited. I am holding off as i might do rims. Had Fuel Mavericks on my 2018 F150 but think i might stick with the stock rims on the ram and go with a better/more aggressive tire. not seeing any rims yet that catch my eye.

The Fortera's are rated a 7.9 on Tirerack. Look at the Continental Terraincontact A/T. Conti's are excellent tires and this tire has a far better rating than the Goodyear.

I don't see any Continental in this size - but do agree that they make a good tire.

Not available in 305/45r22 on tirerack.

I did have Continentals on a couple of Roush Mustangs. They were OK. Horrible in the rain and would never hook in the dry. I would look like John Force doing burnouts.

Looks like the General's are the best bet in this size category unless you need a tire rated for snow then the Yoko Parada's are your next best choice. The Goodyear's are nice but wouldn't be my choice but we all make decisions for different reasons so it's all good.

I'd go with a 33x12.5 as there are several great choices in the size category.

I have the General Grabber UHP's in 305/45R22 (in Florida) and I agree they are a good tire. I only have about 800 miles on them so far, but they look nice, the tread pattern looks good and they are quiet tires.

I have a 2020 Longhorn with air suspension At stock height. I am planning on going with Toyo Proxes ST III in a 305/45/22 mounted on a 22X9.5 wheel and a +15 offset.
Do you think that I will have any rubbing issues?

Either your experience isn't relevant OR you put Continental all terrains on your mustang which makes zero sense.

One of the best features of the Continental Terrain Contacts is their wet weather performance. I ran them on my 4th gen.

Continentals as a brand....... Geesh. Extreme contacts if I remember or whatever they were called in 2008 and 2013. Anyway, their performance and my personal experience with them didn't impress me. Consequently, they weren't on my radar. Plus, they don't even make a 305/45r22.

When the clarification makes less sense. Continental is an excellent brand and they make great All Terrain tires.

On the practical side, I live in SoCal with mostly great weather and drive strictly on the highway. A summer or all season tire makes the most sense but I like the looks of a quiet AT. I am undecided if I should sacrifice a little ride comfort and noise for a more aggressive look. I am looking at a 305/45/22. Thoughts?

The Nitto's have the looks and are real quiet initially. I have them on my Jeep but now with about 20,000 miles on them, they've started to get noisy.

I chose the quiet option plus with the Limited I felt the Goodyears went with the rest of the truck better. I have the Ridge Grapplers on the Jeep.
