I recently picked up the 2020 Rebel. I was looking in to lifting the truck a bit. 2 inch lift would suffice for my needs and wants. But now I am looking at just LEVELING the front with a Tuff Country 2.5 inch leveling kit. Does anyone have experience with this set up and or the brand Tuff Country? I am new to doing any type of lifting or leveling. Reviews elude to not requiring any permanent alterations and a NEAR factory ride when going with the 2.5 inch LEVEL Kit. Any advice is appreciated.

I used the 2.5" motofab spacers they work great.

A 2" perfectly leveled my 19 rebel, a 2.5 would have me nose high.

On a rebel I thoroughly suggest the UCAs, the angle looks NASTY with even a 2". Plus the factory arms feel cheap as hell. Truck rides better with the readylift 2" and ucas then it did stock in my opinion.

The Rebels already have a higher travel ball joint in the UCA just like the Mopar lift kit has. So, a replacement UCA is not a necessity with a 2" or 2.5" level. It's when you get in the 3-3.5" area when it gets a little scary.

Are you sure? , the last time I checked the rebel used same UCA as other trim levels.

From what I read originally they were different however all trims now get the same UCA.

I've looked at mine at full droop w/ 2" on the stock UCA and it's nothing I would ever personally run, looks pretty much completely maxxed out.

Either way once you see how light and chinsy the stock plastic UCAs are...I'm very happy to have some heavy duty steel DOM arms, truck even feels more solid with them for some reason

100% positive that when I compared the Mopar UCA to my Rebel UCA they had the same amount of travel. Not like the comparison on here with the Mopar UCA versus a stock UCA which had about 10-15 degrees more of travel.

With how short the upper controls arms are you don't need much more than a composite UCA with stamped steel covering it. The only reason the truck feels more solid is because you raised it with a top mount hat and stiffened up your suspension.

Had mine at full droop with factory Rebel UCAs and the 5100s installed. Ball joint was was fine and arm did not come close to bottoming out on the strut assembly.

What do you think a decent price would be to install just the front motofab spacers? Not sure I want to play with removing the strut if I did this mod. Looks to be about an 1 1/2 hrs of labor maybe?

$200-300 depending on the shop hourly rate. You are 100% correct that the strut would have to be removed, then the top hat spacer dropped on, then reinstall the strut assembly.

thanks. That is kind of what I was thinking. For $200 I might save myself the time and hassle but once it’s gets north of $300 I might wait for warmer weather
