Does anyone else have an annoying clicking sound in there drivers seat, At first I didn't notice it, but now I know its there, its all I ever hear, drives me crazy, I know I need to see the dealer, but there so backed up, that there is a chance I will be with out a car for a few days until the get around to looking at it...

Iiiii haven't noticed anything. Could you describe it a little more so I know what to look out for? Is there anything that makes it worse or better? Rattling? All seat controls still work? Electric components under the seat that are visible aren't knocking against anything?

All seat controls work, It almost sounds like the D rings for the ram box is moving and making the sound, but there not that loose, usually happens when I am at a stand still and hit the breaks, or gas, almost like a spring in the seat, but plastic sounding.

RamBin*!!! Some people here would drive their cars off a cliff tonight if they knew you already had ramboxes haha. I will keep an eye out for anything tomorrow when I'm driving

Sorry, meant Ram Bin, lol.. Once you hear the sound, you cant unhear it, like like a ticking clock while your trying to sleep, lol

I was curious to see if you ever found any resolution to the seat clicking issue. I am experiencing the same kind of thing with my 2019 Bighorn. Very annoying and difficult to isolate to a specific area in the seat. Seems to be on the side facing the center console, mid to upper section of seat. It's starting to drive me crazy! Very subtle, but still hear it at low speeds when braking or accelerating in parking lot, etc. Aside from getting some recalls taken care of, I just dropped mine off at the dealer and mentioned about the seat. I'm not confident they will verify the issue unless it does it for them. Hoping I don't get the usual 'could not reproduce' response. Anyway, I was wondering if a root cause was ever determined. Thanks!

Jasmine I need help I have the seat click dealer is not very helpful. Thank you

I dont have a "clicking" driver seat but my seat was wobbling or slightly moving around. In my case it turned out to be that one of the bolts was not torqued all the way and sit was rocking during turns, stops, and accelerations. May be check all seat bolts to make sure that they properly seated.

I believe I saw a post where someone had a broken weld in their seat frame and this was causing a clicking noise

I have thg same annoying clicking sound but it's coming from my passenger seat which is a manual adjustment seat. Not getting it from my power adjusting driver's seat. Only happens when a passenger is in it and when making turns. I can duplicate the noise by rocking the seat left to right. Had a look under the seat while this is being done and it appears it is coming from the seat rail. Had it in at the dealer and they said there's nothing unusual. This is not normal, they just don't want to do anything about it. It drive me nuts. Thought I could fix it myself but I don't think so. Hope Ram comes out with a fix but I wont hold my breath.

There are three "pins" on each side that activate with the sliding adjustment bar. Check yours, I bet these pins aren't seating properly. No matter which position (front to back) I put the passenger seat in, I can't get all 6 pins to fall in place - hence the noise.

Hi 20Rebel19 and Emtmatt,
We certainly understand why this may be frustrating. If you would like to have this documented and looked into further by a case specialist, please send our team a private message.

I'm also experiencing the clicking sound in the driver seat. It only happens periodically, and usually when accelerating. But sometimes it goes days without occurring.

Add that to the interior deceleration vibration that occurs when between 15-0 mph that sounds like it's coming from the center console/center of the truck.

2017 Ram Sport 25K miles, so not just a 5th gen Ram issue.
