The tech did the same thing with mine. He ordered a new seat back and seat bottom for my truck. The sound still happens on occasion, but it is drastically reduced.
I just had my seat back replaced last week. The noise is exactly the same as before…
Pretty friggin annoying.

I just bought a 2020 RAM 1500 classic and this is happening to me. I am glad I’m not alone here. It’s so hard to explain and show anyone with out driving the truck. I took the truck to the dealership today for some other installs and mentioned the seat clicking problem. They had a look and told me the play in the seat is normal. This is not about the play in the seat, it’s about a clicky seat bottom that feels like a clip or something is broken. I will be raising some hell about this tomorrow, if there is any progress I will update this thread. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thanks!
I have a 2020 classic warlock, I have this same issue. The dealer replaced the seat frame and now the noise is back. Did you ever get yours resolved? Thanks.

Well. Fixed the clicking noise in the lower seat. I sprayed a ton of silicone lube in the gap between the trim piece that holds the power seat controls and the lower plastic trim seam. My noise was coming from there and after a dose of silicone - gone. Same with the dash rattle. Some silicone spray between the center console and where it meets the dash under the 12" screen. Seems the mating surfaces don't like each other...like me and the ex wife. This may be a temporary fix but its been a couple weeks so far and all is good. Ex wife not so much LOL

You happen to have a picture of where exactly you sprayed for the seat? I also have the dash rattle where the center console meets the screen, however, I've got the 8 in screen so mine rattles where the front bumper sensor control and center console meet. So are you saying to spray in that gap? Thanks!!

Having the same seat clicking issues on my brand new 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn driver seat. Only happens when stopping or accelerating (back and forth motion) and over bumps. Dealer can’t reproduce, but I hear (reproduce) it when pushing on the back center top of seat with minimal force. Dealer says lumbar support is all functioning correctly so they won’t go any further. Says it’s the way the seat is designed.

Mine has a click in drivers seat back, sounds like a plastic sound. I get a click when I accelerate, decelerate or go over a bump. I'm thinking it could be part of the lumbar adjustment mechanism that is making the noise, I can physically push on that part of the seatback with my hand and hear it. At first, I could tilt the seat back a bit more or adjust the lumbar to a different position to get it to stop but now it doesn't seem to help.
Sounds like we have the same exact problem. I'm taking it to another RAM dealer on Monday 5/23 and will report what they find - if anything. The current dealer said they couldn't reproduce the noise in the shop, and that the noise I was hearing can't possibly be from a part failure because the seat is functioning according to specs. They said there's nothing they can do for a "noise nuisance", their exact words. I got pissed and demanded the service advisor go for a ride with me and it started making the noise as soon as well pulled out of the dealership. I asked if heard the clicking sound, and he said yes. I asked if that sounded normal to him and he said no. So now they're elevating the issue with corporate engineering. While I wait, I'm taking it to another dealer on Monday.

Hi 20Rebel19 and Emtmatt,
We certainly understand why this may be frustrating. If you would like to have this documented and looked into further by a case specialist, please send our team a private message.
