Sorry to be posting this before any sort of introduction post, but it is timely. Photo of my new rig attached. I will get a post with a signature with all the details done soon.

Edit: Everything quoted below is 7yr/100K with $100 deductible

Edit #2: I just received e-mail confirmation that they stacked the 2 discounts ($50 off coupon + $100 statement credit for signing up for the credit card). Final price is $1925. I am most pleased

I am one of those who did not do my homework (or find this forum) prior to my Limited purchase. I was able to get my very expensive, dealership specific, 7 year/100K service plan refunded ($3250). I am, however, confused by the comments of this thread.

I go to the Zeigler site and I am quoted $2795 for the 7yr/100k warranty which would come to $2430 with the Payinfull $365 discount code.

After an excellent and lengthy phone conversation with one of their reps, the Chrysler Warranty Direct site gives me $2075 for the same 7yr/100k warranty and it drops to $1975 if you sign up for a credit card. That credit card allows you to payoff the $1975 warranty in 6 months with no fees @ $329.17/mo. If you choose to finance for 18 months, there is a $180 fee to do so and you have to pay 10% down. The warranty then becomes $2225 with $225 down and 18 monthly payments of ~ $112/month. If you simply pay in full, they have a $50 coupon and the price is $2025. No problem for me with the credit card as I will simply pay off in 6 months and close. That is the option I will be going with.

Clearly, there are some serious proponents of the Zeigler site, but I am getting a significantly lower price at the other website. I want to make sure I am not missing anything or making an error in judgement (again!).

This place is awesome!! Thanks in advance!

So is Chrysler Direct different then Zeigler? I thought Zeigler was a the Mopar extended warrenty?

Yes, they are different. Just think of small town insurance agencies that sell a major insurance package (i.e. Allstate). You'll find different rates (dependent on what the major carrier will allow, in this case MOPAR) to sell the product. So in this case, dealerships or agents (Chrysler Direct or Zeigler in this example) of MOPAR have the right to offer the MOPAR insurance.

I believe what his is asking is are they both in fact MOPAR warranties, and that answer is YES, just in this case via different Agents.

Has anyone tried https://www.chrysler-factory-warranty.com ?
(affilate of Bill Gaddis Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealer located in Muncie, Indiana)

Maybe they haven't updated their pricing post 7/1, but they have a 7yr/Unlimited for $2975 ($200 deductible) and 7yr/125k for $2,445 which is cheaper than Zeigler($2,950 after PAYINFULL) or ChryslerDirect ($2460)

Again thanks a million to this forum, I am going to be calling the dealer to cancel my 3rd party warranty they talked me into.

I asked Bob at Zeigler, and he did confirm that some of the prices had not been updated because of the recent price changes.
if you will remember a few posts back, there was even a disclaimer on the chryslerwarrantydirect page stating that some of the prices were wrong, so were the prices on Zeigler.

Best source if you want a REAL TIME QUOTE is just to call, and you will probably get the lowest price you were looking for.

Pricing seems updated on the Zeigler site.

The 7/unl/$200ded = 2505 (with promo code "PAYINFULL")

The 7/125K/$200ded = 2210 (with promo code "PAYINFULL")

As I said earlier, the pricing was not updated as a result of some delays in getting the website updated due to the Mopar Price increase.

I got my 7 year 100,000 mile zero deductible from the dealer I bought the truck from for $4,000 Canadian tax in . if i were to buy it from either posted discount place with my crappy dollar it would be close to $4400 Canadian so I did pretty good lol.
Ya you did decent. I did pay $4425 threw the dealer for a Mopar FCA warranty. I was thinking about canceling it before the 60 days are up but not sure if it would be worth the money back to cancel in case I have problems later. Did you get the Under coating rust warranty and interior offers? I did. Lol

Welcome to the forums! Is there a reason why the warranty coverage is so much higher in Canada? Is it the just a case of higher incidence of claims because of the winter climate?

My dealership matched Zeigler's price on a MOPAR warranty. It was unexpected, but it made the process a bit easier. I always give the dealership a chance.

Mine did as well. They did try some ******** saying that the ziegler warranty isn't the same but I ***** slapped them down on that real quick.

I'm glad to see that a MOPAR factory extended warranty is still available. I was pleased with my dealer overall, but when I got in with the finance manager to pay up, he really pushed a 3rd party warranty and told me that FCA no longer offered extended warranties.

I have a major problem with liars in the car/truck-buying process. If the finance manager had told me that, 50/50 I would have walked straight to the GM's office, made it very clear that it was the lying sack of sh-- finance manager that just cost him a sale, and then walked out. If I stayed, mostly likely I would have pulled out my cell phone, started the voice recorder, told him he was being recorded, then asked him to repeat what he just told me, for the record. Then completed my deal. THEN made a scene with the GM and also published the recording as part of my review on Google and everywhere else I could post it.

Lying like that just pissed me OFF!!!!

Hello thanks enjoying them so far and all the information available on the forum. Hmmm I’m not too sure I know our dollar is worth less but I do think because of the harsh and long winter climates probally take a toll on Powertrain, etc. Using 4x4 a lot, remote start and idle times. Salt used on highways and roads etc. USA does seem to get a bit better rate even with the dollar conversion. Glad to see mine was in the ball park range though with the other Alberta Canada member.

Profit margin is many times larger with the dealer selling a third party warranty. Many times a third party warranty requires you to bring your vehicle back to the selling dealer (and a higher deductible if you dont - - always read the fine print).
I once had a dealer state they didn't offer the OEM extended warranties as well (when I knew they did).
Just TOO MANY stipulations with a third party warranty.

I'd just buy a GENUINE MOPAR ESP online, save thousands, and and not worry about issues later.

This might be a stupid *** question, but ive never bought an extended warranty, i drove a 2012 TC before my ram, 100k miles never a single problem, but with the ram im a little worried, i got a 50k truck, and i dont want my factory warranty to run out and screw me, so is it a good idea to buy one of these and just cough up the cash, also, MOPAR im not very familiar with dodge, but does that cover MOPAR parts, or all factory made parts.

For practical purposes, MOPAR is Dodge. A MOPAR warranty IS a FCA factory warranty.

The extended warranty is non-mandatory insurance. I.e. it's a gamble. Only you can decide whether to roll the dice or not.

I got the 5yr/100K MaxCare warranty because I don't like the risk of large, unexpected expenses. I'd rather pay the chunk up front and make sure I never have any big unexpected payments later.

I keep hearing all these different opinions about the online prices but every time I've looked I come up with Zeigler being the lowest. I just ran quotes from 3 sites. Zeigler is substantially cheaper. $1655 vs $1905 vs $2095 Do you need to call the others to get better pricing?

Zeigler has been the cheapest for a while using the promo code "payinfull".

Thanks for posting this. Ziegler seems to be cheapest on the plan I'm looking at and will likely purchase one soon. I've bought a few OEM extended warranties like this from online discount dealers, and never had a problem in using them for repairs at my local dealers. And it's nice to get a little refund too if you end up selling your vehicle before extended warranty is up.
