depin the mics on the harness under the seat. There are a lot of discussions on this forum talking about this.

Try searching for deactivate ANC or depin ANC. I think that should get you to a bunch.

Interesting...what would be the benefit to disabling?

I'm hoping better sound quality. I also don't mind the sound of a v8.

I tried to search with ANC spelled out. I guess I should've searched the abbreviation.

How to

Thank you. Do you know if it throws any codes or lights when you disable it?

I bought the harness from the website in one of the threads. I believe it's better now but it could be subjective. I did notice that the front door speakers put out more bass than the sub behind the rear passenger seat. Has anyone else noticed a lack of bass from that sub?

How to
Thanks for the write up.
Do you push the pin out from the really small hole above the pin?

Yes de-pin helps a bit. The ANC algorithm is ****ed. It takes the noises it hears, and counter acts so called engine and outside noise with different frequencies! Bad part, this is also our musical system. To which counters acts what we hear to cancel unwanted noises. Sadly, it can gran audio sounds and try to cut them, or attenuate them. This system is nice, but needs its own speakers to actually work. Also, under the hood a vibration unit that works with the anc will give signals to cut out. Disconnecting the mics helps, a ton.. but this will also send information to ANC to cancel sounds.

Anyone have a picture of said unit. Supposed to be behind the battery. Or post a part number please. Removing puns is not hard. Pop up lock. Take a safety pin if you need, and push tab up, while doing, push pun in, and pull to release. Took 4 minutes to complete. Tape up wires

Just came from the dealer. The original TSB 08-03319 has been superseded by a new one, TSB 08-056-19. It instructs the dealer service people to reflash the Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) module and has a specific method for doing it. The symptoms described in the TSB are exactly as described in most if not all the comments on this thread.

Hello, do you happen to have the link to purchase the harness, I am having the feed back issue with my aftermarket subwoofers.
Thanks
