AFE has sale promotions quite often...up to 20% off.
You get what you pay for. You bought a Limited, you should be able to relate

@danny1305 ...I can relate and always buy the best and top of the line everything...I just haven't looked into these enough to know about the quality differences. have you compared side by side to an S&B? Just curious what made you make that statement?

No different than replacing the intake with an S&B or any other brand.
I'm confused....simply replacing an air filter wouldn't void a warrant, but remove the charcoal pre-filter? Not sure...

Not any worse than veraram or Mopar Cai. They are all expensive. Well any after market toys are expensive lol. To play you have to pay.

It's like the oil catch cans. I believe they work just like they're supposed too. They save that gunk from going back through your intake.

A CAI isn’t just replacing an air filter.
Right....I'm talking about simply replacing the drop-in filter not the entire CAI. There's no issue in that....my question is in removing the carbon filter.

Off topic

Did you DIY the engine cover? I like it. Looks clean especially good with the AFE

Yeah I took it off taped it up and sprayed it with some plastic promoter for paint. Then I used some VHT Hemi orange with ceramic in it. It gave it added that shine to it.

If you can, post up a line where you got it from. I’m impressed. I might do that for fun.
