Rockmonster 69. Just traded my 2017 DRW for a 2500 Laramie. Worried about payload as I tow a 32 ft Winnebago with a hitch weight of just over 1000 lbs. Sticker says payload 2161. Me, wifey and puppy are under 500. Wondering how bad the sag will be. Doing a tow in February of just over 100 miles. Comments appreciated.

Hello all. Now i have a question in regards to my 2019 1500 Limited. Threw an Abs light, no engine code. Took out the nowadays "Norm" cruise, 4x4, traction control. Hooked up to abs scanner, front right wheel speed sensor. Replaced this morning, took a couple turnkeys for it to cycle through and clear problem. All was well. About 7 hours later and appx. 100 miles. **** out again??? Any theories?

I have a 2019 1500 rear window leak. Took it in to dealer , they claimed it was the third brake light seal, replaced it but no luck.......still leaks when heavy rain. What's the deal ?

Might be the back glass. My 19' Ram Rebel with less than 60k miles is currently having the same issue, dealership quoted me roughly $1,700 to replace the back glass and suggest I contact FCA, which denied my request to be covered or reimbursed. I did manage to have them escalate the issue for further evaluation but I am not confident it will be covered. @RamCares

I am also having to have both exhaust manifolds replaced due to cracks. Two years ago, the fuel injectors were all replaced due to issues. Why can't a manufacturer produce a decent quality truck. @RamCares
Where is boyle heights ?

Lol. It used to be that even people in this area didn't know where it was.
It's a tiny tiny pocket, neighborhood in Los Angeles. between east LA and downtown LA.

Hello RamCares,

I am reaching out about an issue with my 2020 1500 Limited.

This problem started in January. The engine would shut off and the truck would go into park.

The problem resurfaced about 1 month ago. I would like to change the RF Module. The dealership is quoting $290 for the part and $1127 for the labor to replace it.

I opened another case with Ram.

Case #: 883 744 29

Thank you - I messed up
Hey @RamCares I took my 5th gen 1500 into (Brunswick RAM in Ohio) get recal work on HI stop lamp seal leak issue. It wasn't the seal, but the cracked rear window frame isse. Svc advisor stated it shoudl be under warranty until 85k but but for some reason MY VIN was not uncluded in that. I'm at 71k miles.. Any ideas or thoguhts about what I can do?

The service advisor specifically said he had repaired other 5th gen rear cracked windows under warranty with less miles than mine, but coudln't pull up my VIN under the warranty. He suggested I reach out to RAM directly. Thank you!
Hi JImmy, I have a 2019 Laramie Longhorn that has issues with it's FCW, Lane Assist, ACC and Auto Hi Beams. 90% of the time I have warning lights on the dash for the FCW and LA. Sometimes I get a message saying they need service. Occasionally they work but I have no use for them. Is it possible for me to disable them in Alfaobd, with a 12 + 8 adapter? If so, is it all done in the BCM?
Thanks for any info,
Roy
Hi Jimmy,
If your still building the harnesses required for adding passive entry I would like to purchase a set. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel. When you have a second let me know if you still offer these, as well as the rear antenna one. Thanks, Chas
Awaiting delivery of the keys to my new 2019 Ram Rebel. Excited to learn and live with these trucks. I made the switch from Chevy after driving multiple Silverados for 12 plus years.
I just created a new post "New Truck" in general discussions; but when I go there I don't see it, probably something I am not doing... :)

Hey, I've been looking and haven't been able to find a 6" lift for a 2019 1500 Limited that will delete the air suspension. Any suggestions??
Just took the 2023 with the 5.7 Etorque to the dealer via tow truck. Belt failed for either the water pump or part of the serpentine belt came off and removed the little belt. Just about 10K miles on it.
I've noticed on remote start that the drivers heated seat and steering wheel heat doesn't come on, even though it's set to come on in remote start. Did I miss something?

Zlittle,

I use this feature and it only activates if the outside is below 40 degrees per the truck outside temp sensor. I always get bummed here in WI when the temps drop and I get in a chilly truck and it is 41 degrees.
I own a 2020 Ram 1500 which I bought used. I came across a thread on here discussing gas pumps shutting off prematurely because I am having the same problem. Is there a recall for this issue? It sounds like an expensive repair and I am out of warranty.

I too am having the same issue, and it takes forever at the pumps when I can actually get it to fill my tank. Mine is a 2021 Ram 1500.
