Wiring Grille Lights with Relay Kit - Help

Attempting to wire amber grille lights to my parking light, as countless individuals have done. I’m using the method that includes a relay and fuse. The problem I have is that I was unable to successfully wire the relay manually, so I purchased a harness that wired the relay. The only pre wired harness I could find included an ‘on/off’ power switch. I wired the lights connecting the ‘parking light wire’ to the ‘white wire’ on the power switch. And then connected the rest of the wiring as shown in the diagram. Initially I thought all was good, however I soon realized the grille lights are not illuminated when the auto headlights activate. What am I doing wrong here? Do I tap to the positive wire on the on/off switch?
