So I finally got my new 2020 Limited with black appearance package as a replacement for my 2019 buyback and of course after the first week the drivers side carpet is soaked from a water leak. Not happy to say the least. What the frick RAM? @RamCares

Also, I had written it off as just my luck, but during the one week it sat at the dealer after my order came in and I was waiting on all the paperwork to be completed to get it, it got a door ding sitting there and the dealer tags they hung on the back for the test drive scratched up the tailgate as well. Seems like this one will be just as enjoyable as the last.

LIke it's not hard enough keeping a black truck looking good. Sorry to hear you are going this. The Ford F-150's had major leaking issues from the panoramic sunroofs in the 2015-16 years. Not sure if it's still and issue.

Funny you should say that. I had it scheduled for a ceramic coat to help with the black paint. But I guess now that is off and I have to go back to the same mindset with my previous one where I’m not spending a penny on it till I’m sure I am problem free. My Ram Airflow is supposed to be here Monday but I guess I will wait on installing that as well. I did look at the rear sunroof drains and they are set 100% better than my 2019 so maybe it is the third brake light or A Pillar leak that has been common and you would have also thought It would’ve been fixed by now.

On a side note, i just had my wife’s Wrangler ceramic coated and it came out great and really seems worth it so far. It’s not a Ram but I will post pictures anyway. E47066F2-ACFE-4468-BD22-45A118B0D8E8.jpeg 4D3315B1-35C2-4951-A652-8B17F2335B44.jpeg

Damn, that is nice. Show room look. After I pay off my tires I'm saving up for this. How long was it in the shop? I was told they have to do a lot of paint prep work (clay bar, etc.) before they put the coating on.

It took about 3-4 days of actual work. I was lucky and it didn’t need much paint correction so instead he spent that time coating extra stuff like the wheel well liners and interior painted pieces that are on wranglers.

Well truck is at the dealer and I really hope this is solved quickly. I’m on my 6th loaner in the last 14 months and it is beyond getting old.

Let me tell you, had that been my truck, I would have jumped ship long ago... You’re a more patient individual than me...

I was talking to the service director today and we were joking about my luck and he asked if I was born on Friday the 13th or something and I was like as a matter of fact I was. I didn’t even think about that. Lol

I was patient for the first one. I’m all out of it now.

I unfortunately wouldnt even call it bad luck, these rams just have a ton of issues. The fact that they cant even come off of the assembly line without having crooked doors and bumpers should say enough about the quality of these trucks unfortunately. Resale on these trucks will be very bad in the next few years and I dont know how well most of them will last to 100 thousand miles. I hate to be harsh I really do but I think there are so many people fed up with these Rams. Most brands have some issues of course, but I follow all of the brands just to keep up to date and these Rams have had more issues than any truck that I have seen.

Great looks, amazing interior, horrible quality in many areas.

Yet there seem to be many that have no issues. Would be interesting to see if there is a pattern. Just poor overall QC unfortunately.
