Lol edited for typo.

Nice, I'm trying to decide whether to go Hemifever or Jay Greene when/if I finally decide to tune my truck.

How do you like the Flex? I've always been strangely interested in the EcoBoost version.

I like both vehicles, I was looking at an F150 similar to that when I bought my Ram and have a few friends that have them, they're good trucks. That 2.7 EcoBoost is surprisingly powerful as well. The EcoBoost Flex is a hilarious sleeper, it's crazy what they will do with just a tune.

I have a '16 Ford F150 Platinum 4x4 super crew and a 2017 BMW S1000R superbike. My previous truck was a 2014 Ram Laramie 4x4, but it had a long bed and when we moved it wouldn't fit in the garage (important in Alaska) so I got rid of it. The reason I bought my F150 was that Ram didn't offer a lot of the tech stuff I liked, like adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring and the crash rating wasn't very good. All of that looks to be remedied with the 2019 model.

How do you like the S1000rr? This is my toy, thinking of moving up to the Ducati Supersport S this year. (see attachment)

Well mine is the single R, the RR is the race bike. It's the same engine, but mine is tuned more for midrange which makes it more usuable for day to day riding. This is my 11th bike, and I love this thing. It makes 165hp which is insane! Interestingly I almost bought the Super Sport S, but changed my mind at the last minute. I actually ordered and paid for a deposit it on one, but the dealer could never tell me if/when it was going to arrive, and with the short riding season here, I opted for this S1000R in stock.

Ah yes, I added the second R out of habit lol. Better to have the mid range power for normal riding anyways. Thats kind of what I like about my 650, its torquey so it's fun around town, through first and a bit into second I'm usually a bit faster than a 600 but after that it's all over and they have me on the top end by a lot.

LOVE it. There's literally nothing else on the market like it with it's ease of entry and exit and comfort. Well, except for the Lincoln version, the MKT. It has air suspension so it rides better too.

I love my F150. It's the best truck I've ever owned, not one issue that's needed a dealer visit yet. And yes, I wasn't interested in the 2.7L EB until I drove it. Changed my mind pretty quick with the price difference on the 3.5L EB.

Yeah, the Flex is pretty quick. My fiancé says it has "thrust" instead of torque. I try to keep the valves clean with the ol' Italian tune up from time to time. lol

They're good trucks, I have 2 friends with them, both 2.7's and they've both been great, 1 of them has been to the dealer because his fuel pump died but thats it between about 100k kms combined between the 2 trucks. I told the one guy he was nuts for even considering the 2.7 but when we went to test drive them between the 3.5 and 2.7 I was shocked, it's definitely an impressive performer.

Bought this yesterday to replace my truck. I’m going to actually take it off road some and see what it can do. (see attachment)
