What did you do to your Ram today???

swapped out my cabin air filter after 43k miles and all these trips running tailgunner.
was not sure if the pre-22 with HEPA will work with mine so I ordered the regular ones via parts vendor AND the HEPA one off Amazon

the pre-22 HEPA ones work. so im keeping the regular one as spare and then get the N95 one in the future.

I didn't get offended at all. I merely expressed an opinion about the product you posted, countering with why I didn't like them, and why many others probably wouldn't either. Seems you took more offense to that than I did.

The funny part is, you feel it's perfectly fine to trash talk a product, but don't like it when others do the same towards something you use. And then try to tell me I'm the problem. Enjoy your mud flaps, I'll enjoy my mud guards.

As for positives, aside from looks, they protect the rockers and sides of the truck. The same as what you posted. I haven't personally experienced any of the issues you commented about. 5 years on the truck, it has seen deep mud, deep snow, multiple off roading trips. Just went on one yesterday in fact. See my posts with pictures and videos

Nice edit lol. Too bad I saw the original post already that said NONE of this.

You didn't express an opinion, you took a jab. Don't be such a whiner when people throw punches back at you and stop trying to act like you didn't do anything and never do. It's not the first time and it's not the last. The actual funny part - you were the FIRST ONE TO SAY THE MOPAR GUARDS SUCK lol. I simply added to it that all plastic ones suck for the same reasons and the mopar ones were some of the worst and that's when the butthurt started flowing. Talk about hypocrisy. Why is it always the ones throwing stones that live in glass houses - or should I say - cheap plastic houses?

I edited my original post to clarify my intentions too. I didn't outright change everything I said like you tried to with this post after your initial rage fueled rant. Either way, lesson learned, I won't engage you in the future at all.

Changed my oil at 2k miles. Never thought I would have to jack up the truck to do it as It's already so high off the ground. Made a mess of course as I didn't realize my drain pan was 6 quarts, not 7. Luckily I had my trusty Drip pan underneath and a tarp underneath that (I'm OCD, ok). The factory filter was on so tight, yet leaking. Not sure how that is possible but it was wet and had a drip at the bottom of it before I even touched it. So I replaced the factory filter with a Purlolator Boss and 6.5 quarts of Valvoline Synthetic 5w20 (FCA approved). It was a special that Advance auto was running for $30 or so for the oil (5 qt jug) and filter (must be upset Walmart and Amazon is killing their oil sales). Then they whack you with a $9.99 per quart cost additional. And people wonder why parts stores are dying.

The Mopar ones suck bwcUse they are pockets that collect crap like the picture showed. Pure and simple. There was photo evidence to support it. You came back and said all molded mud guards are "garbage", then posted your personal opinion of a better mud flap was. Sorry for pissing in your whesties and pointing out why not everyone cares for that style.

And here you are, still crying over it. Saying it was only because of a personal issue with you, it wasn't. I don't know you from Adam, and up until this personal vendetta of you against me, I had zero opinion if you as a person. Are you that insecure? Even making sure to claim people are sending you PMs in support, as of it makes your tirade any more worthy. Do you need that affirmation to feel good about yourself?

Yes, I am strong opinioned. Yes I will defend my opinion, and don't need others support. Those guys cheering you on in the background, if anyone really is, are just as sad as you.

Thank you for the suggestion and I'll check them out. I really don't those chrome or white lettered mud flaps.
I'll probably modify the current ones until I install bumpers, upfitter switches, TRX wheels and the Falcon shock leveling system.
I probably have more stuff to do, but if I get the main ones done I'll start buying more. 🤪 🤪
Heres’s a link to the Husky Mud Guards. They fit 19’-24’ Ram 1500 DT’s.
Make sure you specify whether your have flares or not.

I also found a cheaper set just now. They look almost exactly the same as Husky. But 1/2 the price.

How do they even sell the Husky brand mud flaps when you have that option?

It's very unlikely I'll get a deal like that especially when they are $71 used now. I'd happily pay $50 for the no name ones.
Since I'm not buying anything until I get some work done on current items it gives me time to watch the used item prices.
Thanks for the info

Yeah, prices have definitely gone up. I'd be wary of the fit/finish of the knock off ones. Not saying they aren't good, as I have no experience with them specifically, but they are probably just a copy being pushed out of a factory with less quality control and bigger tolerances.

It's possible they are just the same minus the inspection certificate
