What did you do to your Ram today???

Today I tried to hunt down odd static in my 8.4 radio in every format, xm, AA, usb, 8 out of 10 times starting there is a irritating light static in vocals if trucks running or off. Bypassed anc, updated radio, pulled fuse, even installed a dsp amp, all speakers are new ..Gave up and found today same 8.4 radio on lKQ from a 21 w/13k miles for $195, too good of deal to pass up even for spare. Cleaned throttle body and noticed big difference when bcm was reset and throttle body cleaned, much smoother feeling.

It's not much but I did do something

..took it to a dealership for recalls: 75B-ABS Module flashed to 68548900AC, A1B-Turn signal lever/latch- Inspect Steering Column, Control Module.
The paper work does not state if anything was replaced for the turn signal I wasn't having any issues with that and wouldn't have gone in, if it weren't for the ABS issue. Total time just over an hour.

Crawled around under the truck for a couple hours spraying cosmoline. What a mess, but I love that stuff. First time really under her and she is clean with next to no rust, a rare thing in NY. Also a first time using ramps, and might be my last. Was a pain in the butt.

Or just do what I do and use some cheap door mats with rubber underneath. I actually have a giant rug with a rubber bottom I roll out for some tasks to provide a bit of padding. I forget what size but it's large enough to cover the entire floor. I don't have concrete though... just dirt under my carport.

Good advice, thanks. I had to put it in 4 low to keep them from sliding. Your trick would have been helpful.
