What did you do to your Ram today???

Or... you know, the idiot you are supporting by buying one.
The guy that's leading the audit on our corrupt government and elected officials is an idiot?
He is something. I find it crazy how people actually believe the richest man in America is going to do anything for the benefit of people like you and me. He didn’t get rich by doing things for others. It’s all part of a long con.

Let's keep the political talk to the thread in off topic. No need for this here

No need to spend too much time in reinforcement. Guy that built my rear bumper recommended never trying to use the recovery hooks on it. The factory bolts that hold it on aren't strong enough for the bunker to be used as anything more than decoration that's why we have a hitch receiver, and not actual bumper pull hitches.
I kind of expected some push back, and that's ok. I value you're opinion, but I always question anyone that may be selling me something.
In no way do I think this a strong bumper, but it will be. I have plans to make it better and stronger.
I'm a welder and a mechanic, but I don't consider myself a expert in either. In my mind you need to know ALL things in each subject.
I went to school for welding and welded in Tennessee and Texas. I worked at ford as a diesel tech and BMW.
I'm just mentioning this because I have a general good idea of how things work. I also know I'm not perfect and welcome criticism
I've never owned or worked on any Mopar product so this is unchartered territory for me.

It's not the bumper itself that is the issue. Unless you weld in some extra supports to the frame the bolts the factory uses to hold the bumler on are not meant to be heavy load bearing. I'd trust the guy who built my bumper when he says to not use the hooks he welded on to it. There's nothing for him to gain by saying that. If anything, it would be a distractor for someone looking to buy.

Hi everyone!

I haven’t been on in a long time, but I recently traded in my big horn for a 22’ limited night edition.

So far I’ve added the Tazer dt and bed cover.
Honestly the truck is loaded so there’s not much to add.

Funny you mention that. I just ordered the harness, we have it in our other car, 23’ Santa Fe, so now we’ll be using it on the truck too!

Thanks for that!

Took mine finally to get the ABS recall done.

While at the dealer they did a multi-point inspection and brought up 6 things for service

•air filter /engine bay-(HAVE A NEW ONE IN MY GARAGE)

•cabin air filter (ALSO SITTING IN GARAGE)

•brake fluid flush- truck has 110k and fluid is brown right now. Has anyone done a flush themselves and have pointers for a diy’er?

•4x4 service/ fluids for front and rear differentials and transfer case- (I DID THIS AROUND 80k-90k MILES) my question, is there a way to track all your service done by yourself that will pull up on dealers database? I’ve been using KBB to track the service I’ve been doing and it’s advertised to show up on these reports but it obviously does not. Any suggestions?

•rear brakes/rotors - ( I PLANNED ON DOING ALL 4 CORNERS AFTER WINTER AND GOING WITH A POWERTOP Z36 PAD AND ON THE FENCE ON GETTING SLOTTED ROTORS).

•fuel system service- this is the dealers notation for this type of work: scam or what are they actually performing?

Due every 15k miles - This service will clean fuel lines and maximize fuel flow, improving vehicle miles per gallon and reducing vehicle emissions coming from exhaust

When i installed cargomaxx 351-893xhd springs last week i needed to lift the front some to compensate so it didnt look like an old derby car with 6ft of rake. Added 1in to the front and im happy with the look and drive, just hoping it does slightly better than the hd springs I had in.

While driving i could her a creaking noise on acceleration and stopping..had me looking at the front and I saw the drivers front spring upper silencer had come 70% off.

So i had to disassemble the drivers side to reset it. Letting the epoxy set up for a little before putting it all back together and double checking all the torque.

Plenty of Youtube videos and much easier when you have someone to help ( pump brake pedal ).

I've done it alone before with empty plastic pop bottle, hose and fill will fluid at bottom. Can be done, but more of a PITA.

For me I like the look of the slotted/drilled, but will probably go with Z36 pads and solids when I need replaced.
